Lido Antares Beach In Scilla

Abbiamo preso un impepata di cozze e un piatto di parmigiana con il pesce spada, cibo fresco e buono. Il locale è pulito e ordinato ed ancora in piena attività. La spiaggia e il mare sono stupendi in questa zona.

Ristorante eccellente. Sono celiaco, ma sono riuscito a magiare un panino con lo spada, senza glutine, che mi ha fatto dimenticare la mia patologia. Consiglio a chiunque e, a maggior ragione, a chi ha il mio problema. P.S. Ho esordito con la pepata di cozze, da non perdere!!!

Great food and service, very popular eatery and excellent beach location

We had a great time, the water is clean and crystal clear. There is enough space between one bed and another. We ate at the restaurant and the swordfish sandwich was really good. We will definitely be back.

I'll start by saying that the prices are perfectly in line with the place and the (low) season. €15 for an umbrella with two sunbeds in the second row. clean and well-arranged beach, excellent walkway leading to a shower with 4 jets, all free and with water at the right temperature. coffee to review, there was a hint of burnt incense, but all in all an excellent experience in a welcoming place.

Tasty and fresh swordfish sandwich, fast service and affordable price

It's a lovely spot on the Beach. Being from England the prices for a sunbed and umbrella do seem excessive, especially when there is the slightest gust of wind they don't allow you to use your umbrella. It's an Italian thing, and as wonderful as the country is, it's not something that you feel would be adopted in any other part of the world. Scilla and it's beach are beautiful, if you've got 20 / 40 euros spare, go for it.

The sea is wonderful, but this is obviously not thanks to the beach! We paid €30 for an umbrella in the last row on August 24th (Saturday) and I must say that we can fit it considering the place. I was struck by the cleanliness: they have placed a waste bin every 2/3 umbrellas which they empty very often and there is a person who constantly checks the bathrooms and the changing room. Comfortable shower with chain. We also ate at the beach: the specialty is swordfish which they serve in a hot sandwich with various condiments. Considering that it costs €14, perhaps it should be seasoned better to make it softer. According to my wife, her first course was excellent. Unfortunately they are slow in service: more than an hour to get the first one out... perhaps the kitchen is too small or not well organised. But when you dive into that sea with that view you forget everything!

Having not eaten any food, I cannot comment on the cuisine but having used the facility I can say that it is an excellent facility with excellent equipment and services. “More or less” friendly staff, certainly not the best in terms of hospitality. At the level of basic human rights they sin. Little Ali, the little man found near the changing rooms and bathrooms, is the cutest little creature on this Lido. Unfortunately I witnessed an unpleasant scene, which was a real verbal lynching in public, by a "colleague" who humiliated Alì in front of many customers who were also shocked. Starting with phrases like “t'ha stari mutu” “fa u to travagghiu e nun parrari” (Two girls left without using the services as they were disgusted by what happened). Much respect for those who respect, know how to respect others and know how to carry out their work civilly. Little, however, for those who take the right to bully others. Making mistakes can happen to anyone, but publicly shaming someone is not the right method of correction. I recommend, given that I, my friends and numerous users have reported the lack of friendliness, to review the staff.
