We ate and had a really good time, the environment is fantastic and the staff is professional and very welcoming. Excellent food and choice of wines. Absolutely worth doing again!

The first courses are very good (the pumpkin ravioli with fondue and chocolate is a real gem) and the dining room staff is courteous, very competent and friendly. We especially thank Federica who brought us tasty dishes with care and hospitality, making us feel at ease as if we were at a friends' house. After this first lunch today we have already booked to return for dinner tomorrow.

It's a shame there aren't 6 stars, as this restaurant definitely deserves them. The best gastronomic experience of my 4 visits to Rome, not counting Michelin stars or haute cuisine with 3-digit prices per person.
I say experience because not everything is eating.
The place is beautiful, decorated with style and conveys the tranquility you need to focus on the food.
The food is spectacular with typical Roman cuisine. We ordered an assortment of 3 dishes (very good Parmigiana), a Bombetta and a Saltimboca, all between 2 and you are fine. Oh, don't forget the Contorni, in this case the Carciofi a la Romana, simply delicious. By the way, there are no pizzas at midday, but it's almost better this way to get away from the typical tourist food; Although it must be said that the oven seemed like a good, good one.
The wine assortment is very good and they recommend you well.
A separate mention is the conversations we had with the 2 brothers who run the place. That enriches the experience, it allows you to calmly contact local people, learn about their history, etc... And they didn't just do it with us, they also had a good time with a couple from the USA.
As we were the last, we had the opportunity to be shown the basement, a simple but spectacular excavation from Roman times that served as a common thread for us to be given a master history lesson.
Midday is the best time to come if you want tranquility, since the Testaccio area at night becomes much, much more lively.
I think there is no doubt in your mind that you have to come here.

Ristorante a Testaccio,propone una cucina Romana ma con forti tinte Pugliesi,infatti noi abbiamo preso i cocci come antipasto,dove erano presenti: una ottima burrata,ceci con cicoria e del pollo fritto.. sfizioso!
Le bombette pugliesi fatte molto bene,discreto anche il disossato di pollo e caponate salentine ad accompagnare, sconto thefork regolarmente applicato.
