I had dinner there two nights ago. It was a feast for the senses: the atmosphere, the ability to talk at the table, the owner's advice when serving you... and above all, the quality of the food. I really enjoyed the dishes. Incredible vegetables, delicious stewed meat, and delicious crostini. 😍 Because it's far from Spain... hahaha, otherwise... I would go here for dinner at least once a month.

We stopped at Valentina's Hosteria for Sunday lunch. She poetically combined hospitality and professionalism. My mom smiled enthusiastically at her "talking blackboard," a simple yet effective way to make you feel at home. Thanks for the wonderful memory, and see you soon!!

A very pleasant surprise in Serre di Rapolano! We were welcomed and pampered by this gem in the historic center of the town. The managers were kind and attentive and every dish we ordered was a delight! The place is truly a very quiet and private wedding favor. We will definitely be back!

Nestled among the small, charming streets of Serre di Rapolano, whose ancient charm already enchants you, is the Hosteria del Benandante. The owner, Valentina, welcomes you with kindness and warmth, and you immediately feel welcome. Valentina doesn't just present the menu; she explains it to you, and with it, the dishes she prepares, which speak of a time-honored culinary tradition, local flavors, and forgotten recipes that are once again at the forefront. The menu is limited, and in my opinion, this isn't a flaw; on the contrary, it's the quality of the ingredients, the authentic flavors, and the meticulous preparation that take center stage. The portions are just right, sized to allow you to explore multiple options. You certainly won't leave hungry; on the contrary, you'll enjoy the experience, the time, the company, and the exceptional dishes. Trying the pappa al pomodoro and panzanella, or the pici with leeks and sausage, is a must. The turkey ossobuco is a true delight, and the "Chianti tuna" is a true gem of traditional cuisine. The desserts are also truly excellent. We hope to return soon to try the rest!

A place I would not have wanted to leave. A truly unique evening. Valentina, the owner, is the soul of this little place. Her passion, dedication and above all love in welcoming customers and accompanying them in the flavors of her cuisine, leave no doubt about the guaranteed result of an excellent dinner, as if you felt at home. It will remain one of the most pleasant discoveries of Serre di Rapolano. If you pass by here, a stop at this very special restaurant is a must.

C’è da dire che il posto è una chicca nascosta nel paesello, però la cuoca non è una cuoca… non cucina da cuoca.. cucina da mamma!! Quei sapori di casa, che ti fanno stare bene!!! Che ti fanno uscire dicendo ‘’che bene che ho mangiato’’!!!!! Posto da provare, andateci, è tutto buonissimo!!!!
