What a wonderful surprise!
We were a little hesitant at first when we discovered it was a 100% vegan restaurant (we were told so at the entrance), but we were ultimately won over. The dishes are of high quality, with special mention for the hummus and the sweet potato-based Trust Me, which particularly appealed to us. The service is impeccable: the servers are very pleasant, and the atmosphere among the team members is warm and friendly.
By far our best address in Sicily.

Fantastic plant-based restaurant with super kind and friendly staff. The desserts were absolutely excellent - I’m Italian, and both the tiramisù and the cannolo were incredibly similar to their non-vegan original versions! Absolutely recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike!

We nearly didn't go to MOON as it is an entirely vegan menu. Luckily we did and it was the best restaurant we visited in Sicily. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff are all exceptional! This is a must visit for anyone travelling to Ortigia.

Such an exquisite place! So much better than your average vegetarian diner. Presentation, taste, service, knowledge, friendliness - they have it all. We walked up for dinner one night and didn't have to wait, but booked ahead and came back for a second visit. They remembered us and we felt very looked after. Loved the house speciality 'carbonara', which was so light and not heavy at all - and the pistachio 'tiramisu' was a must! Bravo, MOON - setting the standard...
