Traditional Oltrepò dishes, impeccably cooked and made with the freshest ingredients. Good variety. Service is slow. The atmosphere is neat and clean, but the acoustics could be improved. Reasonable prices.

We booked this place because it was nearby...they brought us some excellent local salami. Amazing bacon, a bottle of wine and a taste of ravioli for €90... The owner was very good and he also gave us a piece of salami but €90, two cold cuts and a taste of ravioli seems a bit too much to me...in conclusion I recommend it but watch out for the price

Expensive place for how much and what you eat

These days, we were passing through and stopped for lunch. We took 2 first courses, 2 second courses with side dish, water and 1/4 wine. The food is quality but the sore point is the lack of transparency, menu dictated by voice without visible prices. Let's say that the menu is a la carte and for this reason it would be right to give a brochure where you can see what you spend. The surprise is at the cashier when you pay and let's also say that the bill is not exorbitant but still I would have preferred to know beforehand how much I would have spent and not blindly. Total almost €60. If they took more care of this aspect it wouldn't be bad also because the food is not bad.

Restaurant with good traditional food: special gnocchi and ravioli! Quiet environment, convenient parking. I like it!

Pleasant experience. Family atmosphere. Restaurant in the style of the old trattorias of Oltrepo. Classic, simple and abundant food. To be repeated.

Incredible experience! Staff out of the ordinary, traditional dishes well cooked with authentic flavours, very 80s location suitable but in line with the proposal, we will definitely repeat the experience! A heartfelt thank you to Marco and all the staff!

Invited by friends to this restaurant, as I am vegan they were afraid that I wouldn't eat enough... well what can I say they fed me in abundance anyway. Thanks to the owner for his kindness towards me

Il Leon D Oro è una trattoria che frequento da anni durante la settimana. Il cibo è di ottima qualità e la simpatia di Marco è coinvolgente come quella del cuoco La domenica il menù è fisso e composto da diverse portate, ma scrivo questa recensione per portare a conoscenza la capacità di Marco nel fare stare a proprio agio i commessli. Ieri siamo stati in questo locale con amici e la mia preoccupazione era che la moglie del nostro amico è vegana e che il menù non fosse adeguato. Ma Marco non si è fatto nessun problema e ha soddisfatto a pieno le esigenze della nostra amica portando piatti con varie tipologie di verdure e uno di gnocchi di patate fatti in casa al sugo di pomodoro. Pranzo di sabato, menù completo, dall'antipasto al dolce, vino della casa acqua caffè speso 53 euro/cad. Antipasti di 5, 6 tipi (salumi, torte salate, insalata russa) Primi (risotto con salsiccia, ravioli di carne, malfatti al pomodoro) Secondi (una fetta di arrosto di vitello una costina di maiale un pezzo di faraona al forno) contorno verdure al burro. Ogni portata mediamente, discreta o buona. I dolci, salame al cioccolato, torta di mele e il terzo neanche me lo ricordo, non son ,,goloso,, di dolci, .....per me, poco più che sufficienti. Vino della casa, una bonarda onesta per il prezzo che aveva (12 e), c'è la carta dei vini, invece c'è il menù delle pietanze. Morale, per quanto mangiato, per la qualità di ciò che si è mangiato e quanto speso, mi sento di dare un voto tipo 6 e mezzo, ...... 7.
