Location a little dated but typical of the Pavia hills, without distorting it, however, it should be refreshed a little...courteous staff and very knowledgeable owner. Good food but, at least in my opinion, the portions are a little skimpy, as if the quantities were calculated mathematically based on the number of guests. Price of the tasting menu a little higher than other farmhouses in the area. At the time of payment we were offered a digestive and a bottle of red wine.

Pranzo di sabato, menù completo, dall'antipasto al dolce, vino della casa acqua caffè speso 53 euro/cad. Antipasti di 5, 6 tipi (salumi, torte salate, insalata russa) Primi (risotto con salsiccia, ravioli di carne, malfatti al pomodoro) Secondi (una fetta di arrosto di vitello una costina di maiale un pezzo di faraona al forno) contorno verdure al burro. Ogni portata mediamente, discreta o buona. I dolci, salame al cioccolato, torta di mele e il terzo neanche me lo ricordo, non son ,,goloso,, di dolci, .....per me, poco più che sufficienti. Vino della casa, una bonarda onesta per il prezzo che aveva (12 e), c'è la carta dei vini, invece c'è il menù delle pietanze. Morale, per quanto mangiato, per la qualità di ciò che si è mangiato e quanto speso, mi sento di dare un voto tipo 6 e mezzo, ...... 7.

Excellent home cooking, genuine food served with kindness, competence and also friendliness. Each dish is prepared and served with passion, it feels like being at home with the family, a modest but welcoming environment that makes you imagine other times gone by when substance was more important than appearance. A point of excellence for wines: vast assortment and excellent!!! Definitely coming back

The Golden Leon is certainly worth a visit!

The food is good, traditional dishes but there is no list. The bill was a little too high and the location has a lot of room for improvement.

Excellent restaurant with family cuisine, perfect for a lunch with friends or family. Very friendly and approachable staff, at each course they ask what you prefer (so you don't order everything straight away at the beginning). Comfortable environment and very good prices! All dishes served were superb

You eat very well! Marco and Michele are very nice. They offer delicious wines paired with sublime dishes!

For many but not for all, expensive but not excessively, calculating 50 euros each plus drinks, from starters to desserts. To be happy and in company.
