An elegant restaurant in Piazza della Cattedrale. Crowded and chaotic on holidays and at peak times. Despite the chaos, we were served quickly by friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the location.

I haven't forgotten my first Aperol Spritz, and it was served here, hence the 5 points. But the breakfast is good too. Objectively, it would be between 4 and 4.5 – but I'm biased. Precisely because of that first Spritz almost a quarter of a century ago.

We stopped here for an aperitif. We were given the wrong cocktails, which were replaced after much insistence. The appetizers were very basic. The service was inexperienced, but friendly.

Good, but not great. Years ago, it was much better. The Spritz comes in a sticky glass; I asked for a little ice, and it was full of ice. They served us at a still-dirty table, which we'd already asked to be cleaned because they'd just cleared it. The waiters are young, some a bit annoyed, others polite, but not very attentive. It could use some good guidance. It used to be like that. How sad.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon, and it was very busy. We had tea, with very quick service and a wide selection of different types. Perhaps the outdoor area could have been better heated; in fact, a patio heater was unlit, and the staff tried in vain to light it.

I tried the bar service both inside and outside, and it wasn't pleasant. Long waits, inattentive waiters, a noisy place, and pigeons flying all over the outside tables. Their pasticcio estense is noteworthy. The place is in an excellent location in front of the Cathedral. It recently changed management, so I'll have to check it out.

A bar in the heart of Ferrara. Not being local, I chose it after some online research, and the good reviews were confirmed. I went specifically to try the traditional desserts: tenerina, panpepato, and tagliatelle cake, all very delicious. Fair prices, and a clean, well-kept interior.

21/04/2025: Locale piccolo e accogliente. Il personale ti fa sentire a casa ed è attento al cliente. Come antipasto consiglio le sarde impanate su crema di burrata. Per quanto riguarda i primi invece, il chitarrino con ragù di Anguilla è qualcosa di spaziale. Molto buoni anche gli gnocchetti della casa con intingolo di mazzancolle, zucchine e zafferano. Ottimo ristorantino per assaggiare i prodotti locali!
26/02/2025: Ottimo ristorante, cucina a vista, disponibilità e cortesia. ci siamo presentati senza prenotazione e 1/2 ora prima della chiusura e nonostante fosse affollato ci hanno trovato posto. il servizio ovviamente ha i tempi della cucina espressa e questo è già un segno di buona qualità, ottima qualità degli ingredienti, ottima cuoca e molto gentile. non abbiamo sentito l'anguilla perchè non ci siamo attentati in quanto non l'abbiamo mai assaggiata. se posso permettermi un suggerimento (per noi che veniamo da fuori e non la conosciamo) sarebbe interessante mettere qualche assaggino di anguilla tanto per tentarci. comunque tutto ottimo grazie
