Great restaurant with the best location in Iseo. Pricy, but the food is always good!

After a heavy downpour, we went to the pizzeria. We had to wait a bit because, understandably, there was no room outside, so it was very crowded, but that wasn't a problem. Based on recommendations, we had the pizza, which was good. But we've had better. It was still delicious. Unfortunately, we weren't offered dessert or anything like that, as you'd expect from Italy.

Although they do not accept reservations, the courtesy and excellent quality of the food, as well as the wonderful location overlooking the lake, mean that Il Leon D’oro always enjoys approval among both the Iseans and tourists. The presence of a large outdoor terrace allows you to spend summer dinners outdoors, structured by a correct choice of lake, sea and land specialties, as well as pizzas and desserts. During the winter season, however, you can relax in the internal spaces surrounded by large windows, which also overlook the lake. The service is attentive and fast and cleanliness is a point in their favor: this is also evident from the bottom of the pizzas (clean, not dark) as well as from the grilled fish. The portions are right, as are the prices. I recommend it.

Definitely worth the wait which wasn't that long considering we were a party of 7 with three children. It's on the water in the walking area so parking can be tough, but is available within walking distance.

We stopped by for dinner at the campsite on the recommendation of a neighbor. The outside was packed, but sitting inside by the window is also a great place with a beautiful view. You can't go wrong with a great pizza—we had seafood and porcini mushrooms—and a delicious dessert. Everything was excellent, and the service was very friendly.
