Beautiful, well-kept, clean place with attentive and friendly staff. Its plus is the spectacular view of Lake Varano, your eyes are lost in the shades of the lake on the isthmus until you reach the sea. On days with clear skies you can clearly see the Tremiti islands. Having breakfast or an aperitif while looking at such beauty is absolutely worth it!

This place was born as a bar, attached to the service station, on this splendid road which is 'Garganica' 89. Also for this reason the place, although offering a huge panorama of Lake Varano, does not offer an equally vast choice of dishes . Menu written on a blackboard, without however indicating the relative prices. The bill is still acceptable and the service is fast and friendly.

One of the most beautiful rest areas in Italy, certainly the most popular. Unique panorama between Lake Varano with the isthmus that divides the same lake from the Adriatic Sea on the northern Gargano side. Breakfast, aperitifs, catering, all of a good standard. Good cleanliness and ample parking available. You get the feeling that it still has unexpressed or not yet fully used potential, but certainly a lot of stuff. To try again

Service area with a very nice bar, so much so that it seems more like an evening venue. Both the breakfasts and the aperitifs were excellent. Also resale of tobacco and food and wine souvenirs (some of excellent quality). To conclude, a mention about the desserts, worth trying. ADVISED.

01/09/2024: Wonderful weekend spent thanks to word of mouth from a friend. Very nice and comfortable structure, spartan room with an excellent sea view and carefully clean rooms and services equipped with all comforts. Friendly and very kind staff, above all attentive to the needs of the guests. I highly recommend having lunch or dinner in their restaurant, Chef Daniele will be able to delight even the most demanding and refined palates. I recommend this structure, without fear of any contradiction.

04/11/2024: I was there with my children and. 6 grandchildren in August 2024, everything wonderfully excellent, we will be back this next summer, I am still writing the review today because last November 2nd we stayed in another farmhouse not far away, a negative experience, to be forgotten as they say who leaves Via Vecchia knows what he leaves, but he doesn't know what he finds.....in fact we regretted it bitterly, for me and my family you are the best......An expert in the catering field with two sons chef de ranks and a son-in-law who were all present in August 👏👏👏👏👏
31/10/2024: The place is located in a beautiful, very sunny place in the middle of nature, the possibility of being able to try to collect chestnuts in a beautiful valley right in front of the place by paying €5 is very nice, as far as the place is concerned it is a typical farmhouse environment quite welcoming, good service overall they never made us miss anything and the dishes always arrived quickly even though the room was full, the food is made up of many land-based appetizers which we appreciated, the only thing to improve is the meat in my opinion, good house wine, good and bitter house desserts placed on the table with small bottles, furthermore for those with children it is very much appreciated the fact of having a playground immediately outside with even an inflatable and from our table we could see them from inside
