A very nice place to stop with a wonderful view of the sea. It's a shame about the bathrooms, which are very aesthetically pleasing but not very clean.

A great place for breakfast with a splendid sea view. The atmosphere is clean and very welcoming, and the terrace offers a splendid panorama. Breakfast with fresh and delicious products. Also recommended for a quick brunch. Comfortable tables and even sofas with coffee tables. Highly recommended.

Very nice place, but the reviews said the prices were fair, but that's not the case. We paid €60 for two first courses and two second courses. The fish was (not fresh and slightly overcooked) and the seafood salad was heavy with vinegar. The price doesn't reflect the quality.

Tastefully furnished, this restaurant sits on a small square overlooking Lake Varano and the sea beyond, offering a breathtaking view. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a decent breakfast selection, although everything is defrosted from the oven. The cappuccino is good. The restrooms are also clean and spacious. The gas station offers excellent prices given the location (diesel €1,699).

One of the most beautiful rest areas in Italy, certainly the most popular. Unique views of Lake Varano and the isthmus separating it from the Adriatic Sea on the northern Gargano. Breakfast, aperitifs, and food were all excellent. Cleanliness was good, and ample parking was available. It feels like it still has untapped potential, or is not yet fully utilized, but it certainly offers good service. Will definitely try again later.

20/08/2025: Excellent restaurant serving always fresh local dishes. The terrace overlooks the sea. You can also order the same dishes on the menu for takeout. The staff is always friendly. Prices aren't prohibitive, but they're not cheap either, largely justified by the consistently high quality of the food.
18/08/2025: Clean atmosphere, efficient waiters. Beautiful location, overlooking the sea. The cashier in the hat needs to improve his customer service.

13/05/2025: This is the second time we have returned to Antica Casina di Caccia and once again it has won us over. We started with a platter of Tuscan cheeses, rich and tasty, and continued with the crispy Cinta Senese pork, an absolute delight. Each course exudes quality and authenticity. To accompany it, we chose a Nobile di Montepulciano di Poliziano, which married wonderfully with the flavors of the lunch. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, perfect for a leisurely lunch, with barely audible background music. The staff was impeccable: attentive, professional and always smiling and made sure we lacked nothing. We will be back very soon!
