Absolutely fantastic! One of the best dining experiences of my travels in Europe! No exaggeration. Food delicious and staff were so friendly & helpful. We had the cod for starter, followed by octopus, tuna lasagne, and tarte tatin for desert. 100% recommend. Book ahead if you can.

We picked this restaurant as our last dinner in Sicily and we were not disappointed!😊
The restaurant is nicely decorated with bright color which gives a Mediterranean vibe. However the food is more a French fusion.
We were generally impressed by the food. The grilled octopus was delicious and the duck breast was well prepared as well. I highly recommend the shrimp tempura as well!
The waiters spoke perfect French and Italian and were very helpful!
There was no cocktail menu but the restaurant is able to prepare basic cocktails.
I’d recommend this place if you look for a family friendly restaurant with cozy atmosphere.

I have always thought that the highest prices in catering were in Trentino and Alto Adige.
I say this from proven experience, having toured practically all of Italy, from Brennero to Palermo.
I was wrong.
In some places, prices are high even in Sicily.
For a first course and half a liter of water, I spent €24.00.
The dish was okay, not great.
Very seasoned orecchiette, with some mussels (I definitely counted 4 in shell and I think 3 or 4 on the plate) and burratina top.
The sauce is generous, perhaps even too generous, overall good and the portion size more than adequate.
The cooking of the orecchiette, however, was perfect. A non-negligible detail for this type of pasta which usually presents problems.
The place is beautiful, the service and courtesy excellent.
What is only a hair "Assassin", in addition to the name, which I must say is original and intriguing, as well as the psychedelic lights outside, is only the price, the value of which I dare not imagine in high season, given that I was there the December 22nd (which I don't think is a very busy period for Ortigia).
This is my impression, obviously formulated on the basis of my personal experience and without taking anything away from the place and its prestige.
To summarize, if I were to base myself on the fateful price/quality ratio in Ortigia, my choice would not fall on this place.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this bistrot is! It is exceptionally good in all categories; flavorful, interesting food, beautiful space and warm and inviting staff! Definitely try the risotto - and wash your hands in the restroom for a little surprise.
