A wonderful experience at Le Vin de l’Assassin in Syracuse.
A huge thank you to Arnaud, a fantastic waiter who speaks French and gave us excellent advice on both the wine and the food. Attentive, warm, and professional service.
The meal was truly delicious, from the appetizer to the main course, with an excellent wine to complement it. Expect to pay around €90 for three people, including wine, appetizer, and main course—very good value for money considering the quality offered.
We highly recommend it!

The waiter was super friendly, the atmosphere was warm, the only downside was a slightly small beef fillet, but our hunger was quickly satisfied by delicious profiteroles.

The risotto was delicious, with a unique tomato sweetness. The octopus leg sauce was also very tasty and went well with bread. The Dubai chocolate cake was equally delicious, and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended!

We've been to many top-notch restaurants in Europe.

We dined there twice during our week in Ortigia in September 2025.
Always a pleasure. One of the best places to eat in Ortigia.
The exterior is truly lovely and the location is peaceful.
Arnaud looked after our table; the service was warm and efficient, with excellent recommendations. Everything was superb, from the appetizers to the desserts.
We can't wait to return! Thank you so much, Arnaud, and to the entire team.

One of my favorite places, excellent food and raw materials, welcoming atmosphere, unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired, table set without a tablecloth, it could even be there, the problem is that as soon as you use the napkin you are forced to put the cutlery directly on the table, the most unpleasant thing, however, was that, after finishing the last forkful of dessert they immediately turned off the music and stared at us as if to urge us to leave, we felt very uncomfortable, this, given the level of bistro they want to represent, is a very discordant note that does not go hand in hand with the quality of what you eat.
