Another very memorable place that we are. Highly recommendable!!! The best thing is that some of our best food experiences are by stumbling upon them. The waiter said initially no table available but he noticed our disappointment! He said if you can be done by 8 PM ( 1.5 hour dinner) he could get us tables. We said no problem. We all were memorized by the view. The setting was great, food delicious the wine was great as well. Overall a fantastic place to eat. Also the restaurant on the inside provides great ambiance. By the time we finished it was 9 PM, nobody rushed us. If I’m back here again, I will stop here to eat!!! Sorry no good photos of our dishes.

What a beautiful setting with a stunning view. We ate at Le Vecchie Mura on out trip to San Gimignano in October.
We had the porcini mushroom pasta and the truffle carbonara. Both the dishes were delicious.
It was a beautiful night and so nice to be able to sit outside with a wonderful view. If you are going to be in San Gimignano, it is definitely worth it.

The restaurant Restaurant Le Vecchie Mura has probably the best location in San Gimignano. Sitting on the terrace you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Due to time constraints, we weren't able to try any of the food in the restaurant, so this recommendation is based solely on the view!

We are delighted with this place! We wandered in by chance on a Google recommendation and it turned out to be a good idea! Friendly staff, delicious dishes, the terrace is beautiful even in the evening! And it’s great that now you don’t have to book a terrace. We took rabbit, wild boar, and gnocchi.
Come, you won't regret it!
