The food is of average-to-high quality, but some of the pizzas I've tried aren't very tasty.
Last time, two ingredients used for one of their best pizzas, the melina, were missing: honey and almonds. Both are easy to find; we were a little disappointed, but the fig pizza they offered was good.
The appetizer portions, however, are really small—perhaps excessively so—and the prices are too high.
The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is quite friendly, and they've increased their numbers, so even though it was a Saturday, everything arrived on time.

I can't explain the negative reviews; I've known the place for years, and it's always elegant in its simplicity. The staff is friendly and professional, and the pizza is light and made with good-quality ingredients.
You won't find pizzas with puffy, dry, and oversized crusts. For me, it remains one of the best places to spend a quiet evening in Taranto.

We had a wonderful evening, the atmosphere was very nice and the staff was excellent. We ordered three appetizers while waiting for the pizza. Just one piece of advice... put two extra slices of eggplant in the parmigiana... in my opinion, the quantity and price aren't worth it.

A very nice place both in winter and summer, certainly even more so since you dine outside under a pergola of vines and lights. The pizza is good, as are the kitchen preparations and the meat. Few courses but good. The desserts could be improved in my opinion. Friendly staff. Elegant but relaxed atmosphere. I recommend trying it.

For dinner, this evening we chose the restaurant Le Vecchia Cantine, my husband and I had an excellent pizza, very good is an understatement, an enchanting, welcoming, relaxing place. Excellent service. I recommend it to everyone

Siamo clienti delle vecchie cantine da tantissimi anni e continuiamo a scegliere la professionalità della proprietaria Loredana. Oggi abbiamo festeggiato l’anniversario di matrimonio dei miei suoceri in un’atmosfera serena ; oggi il ristorante brillava di una luce che preannuncia l’arrivo della primavera. I piatti di ottima qualità , ricercati saporiti e belli da vedere e da gustare . Cantina eccellente che ha seguito il nostro pasto. Esperienza che consiglio vivamente
