The pizza is good, nothing exceptional, but there's a good variety on the menu. I would have preferred a rounder pizza shape, but it was a bit oval, but that's a minor detail. The service was courteous, especially the waitress, who seated us quickly despite the crowds (many tables were empty, but perhaps they had reservations? Even though it was late). Anyway, I would recommend it.

The location is welcoming, with its characteristic Salento tuff walls, very evocative and conveying a pleasant sense of conviviality and the historic character of Gallipoli. I really liked the tables and chairs, because they are made of high-quality solid wood and comfortable. The pizza is truly traditional Neapolitan pizza: we ordered a Napoli doc and a prosciutto and burrata with a ricotta crust, and both were amazing! The pizza is made with great care and attention, both for the excellent raw materials used and for the workmanship behind it. The dough is carefully prepared, and you can see and taste it in how flavorful and digestible it is: it is well-leavened, fragrant on the outside, and soft on the inside. The service is informal and pleasant: the waiters were kind and prompt. Kudos to all the staff, guys, the pizza was superb!!! The potato croquettes filled with mozzarella and cooked ham were also very tasty, crispy on the outside, stringy and melt-in-the-mouth on the inside.

We went there twice during our stay in Gallipoli. The pizzas are really good, the staff is attentive. Prices are reasonable, no complaints!
