Exceptional Experience: Superb Meat and Admirable Professionalism We were at this restaurant this evening, and, to be honest, it was one of the best meat-eating experiences of recent times. If you're a lover of quality meat, this is the place to be. We ordered a masterfully aged rib-eye steak: tender as butter and with an intense flavor. The appetizers were also excellent (the artisanal cured meats are out of this world) and the side dishes, simple yet meticulously prepared. You can sense a meticulous attention to the ingredients. The Service and the Unexpected: I wanted to give special praise to the staff for their stress management. During dinner, we witnessed a rather surreal scene: a customer began to rage at the waiter and the owner, complaining about supposed problems and shortcomings that were completely nonexistent (we were at the table near the butcher counter, and I assure you, her accusations were completely fabricated). Despite the embarrassment and the unfounded criticism, the staff remained impeccable, calm, and extremely kind, handling the situation with enviable class without ruining the atmosphere for other guests. In summary • Meat quality: 10/10 • Cooking: Perfect (rare as requested). • Atmosphere: Welcoming and professional. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back, hoping that next time all our customers will appreciate the hard work of these professionals.

This restaurant in the center of Cisternino is a group of 18. We had a truly delicious meal in the small dining room on the first floor. The set menu was excellent, costing €23, excluding drinks and cover charge.

We stopped by chance for lunch and were very happy, super generous portions, excellent quality meat and very kind staff.

We went to Tre Lanterne in Cisternino for dinner, and the overall experience was decent, but there were several aspects that left us a bit perplexed. The restaurant is charming and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere, but some details of the evening didn't live up to expectations. We ordered two beef tagliata with arugula and parmesan cheese. The flavor was good, and the meat itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't the classic tagliata you'd normally expect: the cut was different, the presentation was different, and overall the dish felt similar, but not quite "the right one." Fortunately, the flavor was still pleasant, so the dish was enjoyable, even if not what we expected. The mixed bombette was the least successful aspect of the dinner. Many of them were undercooked, some even almost raw inside. Considering that bombette are one of the typical specialties of the area, this was a truly disappointing aspect and significantly impacted the restaurant's final rating. For appetizers, we ordered tripe alla pignata and a cheese and cured meat platter. Both were average: adequate portions, simple flavors, nothing particularly surprising, but still a pleasant start to the meal. The tripe was tender and flavorful, while the platter offered a fairly basic but adequate selection. One aspect that deserves special mention is the service. The staff was attentive and kind, but unfortunately, they were often absent for long periods. After ordering or finishing a course, it took a long time before anyone returned to the table. Courtesy was not lacking, but the lengthy wait made the dinner slower and less fluid than we would have liked. In conclusion, our experience at Tre Lanterne was adequate, with some dishes being good and others requiring more attention, especially in the cooking. The service, while polite, could be improved in terms of both presence and timing. For these reasons, the final rating is 3 stars: a place that can work, but could achieve much more with a few tweaks.

Can't understand the reviews! We had a perfect T-bone steak. Served on a hot cast-iron platter. 1.2 kg, aged meat. Friendly service, rustic ambiance.
