Great little Cafe + Bar near the Fontana delle Tartarughe, Piazza Mattei.
Stopped in first day late morning/early afternoon on Saturday for coffee drinks and quick bite before going to apartment.
The pastries were excellent, also had a focaccia with mortadella which was excellent. The hot chocolate was super thick and magnificent, the cappuccino was superb.
Service was accommodating with our extra luggage, and seating space, and friendly.

Had lunch here twice. The homemade ravioli was delicious and the IPA on tap was also very good. Highly recommend!

Why does this place have less than 4* reviews?! We had the most DELICIOUS and beautifully made cocktails here and an equally as tasty bruchettino snack. They were friendly and should have more stars!

A good place to enjoy a cold drink at the foot of the turtle fountain, a beautiful place. Although the prices are quite high, it is expensive.

We clearly chose this place for its location which is truly superb, facing one of the most beautiful fountains in Rome. On the terrace, in the shade, we had a cold coffee and some really delicious and original vegetarian sandwiches! To finish, a very fresh homemade crostate! The servers are nice and even if they are a little overwhelmed because they are very busy with the constant activity and entertainment, they are friendly and helpful. Finding such a cool place for tourists in the middle of August? Not so obvious, so thank you!

A very friendly café at Piazza Mattei close to the Ghetto in Rome. You can sit outside and inside. Ver affordable drinks of great variety, cakes, sandwiches and much more. And it is a magnet for nice people. Locals and tourists. We all feel at home here. We will be back soon.

We stopped for pre-dinner drinks - sadly no outdoor table available on the pleasant square, but its also pleasant indoors.
Ordered drinks and they brought a couple of small "tapas" bowls (nuts and beans etc).
