A truly pleasant bar. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff professional, and a waitress served us, who was truly kind and attentive. My boyfriend and I ordered a piadina and a sandwich: both were excellent. The place is clean and well-kept, with outdoor seating perfect for enjoying the sea air. Fair prices. We recommend it!
We went here almost every day during our stay in Portoferraio for a drink and we don't understand where the low ratings come from.
It was often full (with locals) and despite that we were always asked immediately after sitting down if we wanted something to drink. A few times we got something with the aperitivo.
Water for the dogs was no problem.
Just a great place with a nice view to have a drink and the service is also fast and attentive.
The location is incredible. Seriously, the view to the sea from the fantastic and lovely balcony is something I have never seen in my 40 years I’ve lived. We don’t have places like these in Chicago!
However…the service. First of all the customer service was very rude and disinterested, we were left with a very bad image of the place.
What I’m seriously worried about as a psychologist is the working athmosphere amongst the workers. The (I guess) 2 owners were in full fire! I was outside and could hear one of them scream: ”Prendo la mazza e ti spacco la vespa in due, che e 50% mio!”
My nephew is now constantly repeating italian swearwords too…Grazie eh?

Serata indimenticale, coronata da una cena a dir poco formidabile.
Pizza ben condita, cotta al punto giusto, inoltre tengo a precisare gli sfizi deliziosi di questo locale fatti artigianalmente come ci ha consigliato il titolare al momento dell'ordine.
Insomma complimenti al suo titolare e al suo staff professionale.
