First time at Le Sapin. Everything was delicious, from the sautéed porcini mushrooms to the fillet steak in Barolo. Service was prompt but not intrusive. The diners were polite and interesting. We'll definitely be back.

Champoluc's main street. Restaurant with a menu I chose, typical Aosta Valley fare, including a lard and honey appetizer, Aosta Valley soup, and marron glacé and rum dessert! Friendly staff, but since it's 9:30 pm... a bit tired from the evening. Book on Thursdays for Saturday dinner!!! Always full! Excellent Aosta Valley wine, Fumin: full-bodied.

We spent a weekend in Champoluc, and trusting the good reviews we read about this place, we tried it and indeed we ate well, good quality, fair prices, and large portions too. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful meal with game and polenta. Porcini mushrooms with mushrooms, and venison and roe deer prosciutto. Two desserts and two waters. We paid €90 without receiving the receipt we requested.

The restaurant looks like a classic mountain hut, warm and welcoming.
To start, we choose a mix of cured meats and cheeses; the moccetta is delicious!
We continue with a Valdostan soup and polenta concia with sautéed mushrooms, both delicious.
Generous portions, and the berry tart is delicious.
Definitely worth a try!

A typical mountain restaurant on Champoluc's main avenue, a popular spot.
The traditional style is maintained with the generous use of wood, including for the rustic solid wood outdoor tables, yet the atmosphere is informal.
The service is staffed by many young people, some of whom are new to the business, but they are helpful and friendly enough.
The menu features mostly traditional dishes that are high in calories, even in the height of summer, but quick snacks are also available for short breaks.
The ingredients used in the kitchen are excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.
Definitely worth considering.

This place is definitely a favorite in Champoluc. I recognize a certain quality in the traditional dishes, but I wasn't entirely sold. The service is naive but it defines the place.

Truly delicious dishes, very attentive even to one of our guests who is celiac. Highly recommended, especially if you want to try traditional dishes. We also ordered tagliatelle with mushrooms, which was good but not exceptional.
