Simple, friendly, and generous home-style service. The menu is limited (and that's a good thing). The tagliolini with chicken and livers are truly delicious. There's a great selection of cheeses. The wine list could be improved, but whatever.

Very friendly and attentive service, well thought out degustation menu for a fair price, good selection of wines. First courses arrived very quickly. Can heartily recommend and will come back if I’m in the region again.

Excellent Piedmontese Osteria. Delicious food, fast service, and a family atmosphere. I'll be back.

A real gem in the San Paolo area – not to be missed! We discovered this trattoria in the San Paolo area of ​​Turin and we left with the sincere desire to return. The difference, compared to many others of the same level, was immediately made by the welcome of the owner. Mr. Egidio Lazzarin, aka chef Steven, welcomed us with warmth and style, personally bringing an excellent wine to the table. He uncorked the bottles in front of us and carefully served the first glasses – a rare gesture, which says a lot about the passion and dedication he puts into his work. I don't like photographing dishes: I prefer to taste them. But I can assure you that the presentation was impeccable, harmonious and cared for, without ever stealing the scene from the most important thing: the flavor. Each dish told a story, with well-chosen ingredients and successful combinations. The service was surprising: a young waitress made our evening even more enjoyable, with professionalism and a touch of truly appreciable kindness. We will definitely be back: because when you leave a restaurant feeling that the money spent finally has a meaning, it is right to recognize it.

Locale non ampio nei paraggi di via Monginevro, con parcheggio non impossibile e gratuito. Tavoli piuttosto vicini, un certo caldo caos, una marcata lentezza sia nel portarvi il menu, sia nel portarvi i piatti. Che sono però piuttosto buoni, a cominciare dalla focaccia e dal pane compresi, al pari dei grissini, nei due euro di coperto (i tovaglioli sono di stoffa; ma curiosamente non esiste altro che una specie di tovaglietta di carta). Abbondanti e gustosi, anche se un po' slegati, i tagliolini con ragù di pollo e fegatini (13 euro); agnolottini di maiale ed erbette di campo buoni, ma un po' grumosetti all'interno; eccellente il tortino di antiche mele piemontesi con mela profumata alla cannella (euro 6: piccolo, però!), buona la bavarese al Genepi con scaglie di cioccolato fondente. Birre: scelta limitata. Bisogna inoltre segnalare sul menù se una birra non c'è, e se te ne devono quindi portare un'altra, magari di gradazione minore, al suo posto. Quelle artigianali costano 7 euro, dopotutto.
