The food is fantastic, and everything is a surprise! Homemade and fresh, without too much of a wait. The hostess is friendly and welcoming, and makes you feel right at home.

What can I say? A completely different experience than usual. The food is very good, but there's no menu or à la carte menu to see the prices, and in my opinion, the price is too high for the service I received.

In short: the food isn't bad, pleasant, with a few simple but tasty dishes. The staff is friendly and courteous. The problem is the extremely high bill for what you ordered and the total lack of transparency regarding prices. No menus, no chalkboards, no receipts. I'm sorry, but this is something I can't compromise on, and I feel compelled to give this rating.

Excellent and plentiful food. VERY homemade, friendly service with no frills. If you're looking for chic, this isn't for you; the focus here is on substance. The game is top notch.

03/02/2026: I just came back from a ski weekend here and had a fantastic time! Luggage was quietly brought up to my room and I received a tour upon arrival. Everyone I interacted with - the reception desk, the kitchen staff, the spa staff were welcoming and friendly. It was my first time in Courmayeur and I stayed solo in a deluxe room with gorgeous Mountain View’s. Ski storage room was useful, only a few mins walk to the main lift. Breakfast was lovely, great choice and felt relaxed. Pool area amazing and made friends with other guests. Overall, a sophisticated stay with accommodating staff. I looked forward to coming to my room every night. I can’t wait to come back and stay again next February for our next corporate ski trip!

21/09/2025: An exceptional welcome in a breathtaking location! Marcello takes great care of his guests; and the food is delicious (and the grappa too :-) )!!
20/09/2025: Was fairly happy here after a long day hiking but a few things to take note of - the comfort room is nice for a couple but it is a single bed with a single mattress so if you are two older guys this does not really work. Food is good and plentiful but dinner at 8 pm seems a bit later and no WiFi until 8:30 or so is not a great selling point. That said, room was clean, showers are hot and meals were OK so not too much to complain about. Not the best Refugio but very far from the worst.
