Beautiful old-fashioned place with nice people.

What a lovely place, on the top of a mountain is an estate which has been used as a retreat by the same family for over 200 years. It provides all the current days comfort while you feel going back in time as you are surrounded by numerous beautiful historical artefacts. The family is taking turns in hosting the guests and you can also take a small tour whereby they share the family history. The staff is super nice and welcoming and always ready to help. Breakfast and dinner prepared with food from the estate, are served in the 17th century kitchen which has an amazing vibe and makes you feel going back to the Middle Ages.

A splendid location, steeped in history. Spacious rooms impeccably clean. A warm welcome awaits you in this former monastery, where your host will give you a guided tour upon request. And I haven't even mentioned the excellent breakfast and exceptional evening meals. However, the place is worth it; access isn't the easiest!

For my husband and I, this venue was love at first sight! We chose it for our wedding, which we celebrated a few weeks ago. Giovanna is very helpful and accommodated all our needs. On the wedding day, the weather was unpredictable, but the staff was ready to quickly adapt the arrangements, keeping both indoor and outdoor options available. The ceremony took place in their beautiful veranda, and fortunately, everything else took place outside in the garden and under the pergola, immersed in nature and with a breathtaking view. Our guests were blown away by the location and the excellent food. A special thanks goes to the maître d', Domenico, a truly special person who looked after us throughout the day; you can tell he puts his heart and soul into his work. From our first meeting with Giovanna, we had a wonderful connection. Her helpfulness and attention to detail accompanied us throughout the year of our wedding preparations, making the planning process a smooth and exciting one. The wedding day was simply perfect; everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, and our guests were enchanted by the beauty of the venue. Many told us it was the wedding where they ate the best; the quality of the food was exceptional, as was the professionalism and service! A special thanks goes to the maître d', Domenico, whose professionalism truly made the difference. He perfectly managed every aspect of the reception, with impeccable timing and never leaving any downtime. Thanks to him, we ate everything and enjoyed every moment of the evening!! We also chose to book all the rooms in the property to fully experience the magic of our special day with our families and relatives. In the morning, a delicious breakfast awaited us in a stunning kitchen. Thank you so much, Giovanna, Domenico, Olimpia, and the entire Villa Giusso staff. You made our dream come true!
