The "Le Monache" pizzoleria is a sure thing! Just a short walk from Sortino, you'll find one of the best pizzolerias in the area. We've been there many times now, and each time we find the same flavor and the quality of the ingredients is consistently high. The ample parking available for customers is also a plus.

My partner and I came to Sortino to try the famous pizzoli and were very satisfied. Excellent food and excellent service: friendly and welcoming waiters. We arrived a little early, so the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Recommended!

The food is very good; we sat in a room that was very cold due to the lack of heating, which was the only drawback. We had a bit of a wait for service, but given the crowds, that's understandable. The pizzolo itself is spectacular; there's a wide selection and tasty toppings.

Since there were two of us, we ordered two pizzoli, which we then took home. Among my favorites were the venison and roe deer. We would have liked something sweet, but a whole pizzolo was really too much. I recommend considering offering individual slices, like you do with cakes. The waiters were friendly. The young woman did her job without much enthusiasm; I understand her temperament and character, but in this job, a friendly and cheerful waiter can make all the difference.

Hotel Ristorante Jonio

21/10/2025: An excellent hotel, beautifully maintained on the outside and with free private parking. It's located right on the seafront and a short distance from Noto, the Vendicari nature reserve. The rooms are spacious and have a lovely balcony with a table overlooking the sea. The exterior of the property is very well maintained, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms aren't brand new, but they have everything you need. The room is spacious and has plenty of counter space. The breakfast is good, and both the owners and Giovanni, the breakfast guy, are very friendly.
12/10/2025: Would go back here in a heartbeat! We visited in late September/early October- weather was beautiful- sand beach was across the street. Great breakfast included, and the staff were so warm and attentive. Free gated parking on the property. A beautiful hotel with delightful Sicilian pottery, displays, and photographs decorating the seating areas and hallways. Lots of interesting spaces inside and outside the hotel. A nice restaurant within walking from the hotel. A memorable time here❤️
