Very friendly and courteous service, fresh fish dishes prepared with skill. Simple but welcoming location, wines from Sicilian cellars. I recommend taking the cold appetizers and the paccheri with shrimp and cherry tomatoes.

I enjoyed my mixed grilled fish and would go back. Not the best of cozy atmospheres but good food and very friendly waiters.

Le maree es uno de nuestros últimos descubrimientos culinarios en Catania. Escondido en una zona residencial: el lugar está inundado de lugareños en un auténtico ambiente comunitario de barrio. Hemos disfrutado hasta el punto de que comimos y cenamos en el mismo día. Es difícil recomendar un plato, por lo que sugerimos probar cualquier cosa en el menú para que pueda sorprenderse en cada plato. Es un lugar para volver!

09/02/2025: We stayed in this hotel to then spend a Sunday at Etna and be already in the area early in the morning. The hotel is very elegant, the rooms are spacious, both the quadruple and double rooms. The cleanliness is excellent both in the common areas and in the rooms. The hotel has both a restaurant and a small pub/bistro, both excellent but the best is the breakfast, with a vast choice from sweet to savory and also in drinks. The staff is very kind both at the reception and in the restaurant but above all super professional. It has a beautiful swimming pool that obviously given the seasonality we did not use. I recommend it to everyone, couples, groups of friends and families.

Pizzeria del centro

13/04/2025: Advisable. Professional people and good product. The amount of ingredients on the pizza is small.
08/04/2025: Unfortunately, there aren’t many traditional eateries left in Sicily. While searching for a local restaurant on Google Maps, we came across this small pizzeria—and we’re glad we did. There are just two people working inside, and everything is cooked beautifully over a wood fire. After placing your order, you simply wait for your takeaway pizza. You can either take it with you or enjoy it at one of the outdoor tables. Of course, after visiting Naples, I stopped comparing pizzas altogether—nothing beats Neapolitan pizza! Still, this place stands out with its handmade dough and authentic preparation. It’s not expensive, and the pizzas are on the smaller side, which actually makes it great for trying a few different varieties. Overall, it was a really nice experience. I truly enjoyed it and would recommend giving it a try.
