Le Maree In Catania

A delicious dinner featuring very fresh fish. The appetizers were excellent, including a caponata with an ancient flavor. We also tried two first courses: spaghetti with clams and paccheri with swordfish, both plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend it. In fact, I hope to return to Catania soon to enjoy it again!

Excellent, chic fish and seafood restaurant located in the Tribunal district of Catania. Extremely popular with the upper class. No tourists. The setting is modern and bright, decorated with paintings by local artists or reproductions. The cuisine is excellent. Sicilian and original. The welcome is excellent, both from the owners, a couple, and from the friendly, helpful, and attentive waiters.

Good fish dinner with excellent service

For our first evening in Catania, we chose this charming restaurant and were not disappointed. Welcoming and friendly, accompanied by excellent food and wine! A special mention for the almost entirely gluten-free menu (the only gluten-free item was the bread). I ate the best gluten-free fried calamari of my life here!

In Catania for work, a colleague recommended this restaurant to me, near the courthouse, so I walked there to have lunch in time for my flight. The welcome was impeccable, courteous, respectful, and friendly. The restaurant is very refined, elegant, but not pretentious. I chose a swordfish tartare appetizer, followed by linguine with fresh scampi, zucchini, and pecorino cheese, with a glass of Nero d'Avola. For dessert, a delicious Sicilian cassata. Everything was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The price was definitely lower than I expected, especially considering the absolute quality of the food. Five stars!! Congratulations!

Definitely a great place, very kind staff, excellent food, I'm vegetarian, they cooked excellent Aeolian spaghetti, obviously without fish! I thank them so much for their hospitality and courtesy! Thank you.

Tutto buono ma non eccellente. Personale disponibile e presente. Dolci da scartare. Ottimo per pranzi d’affari. Mi aspettavo di meglio Prezzo giusto per quanto mangiato.
