I ordered a short pasta and it was just right, with a homely taste, without being overcooked. The place is quiet, with a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a quiet meal. The service was excellent, you could tell they were attentive but not overbearing. I liked that they didn't try to fake anything, it's Italian food made with love and well served. It's not one of those pretentious places, but rather cozy.

A place for traditional food. Highly recommended. The carpaccio was tremendous, and the pasta was also very good!
The service was very good. The only thing they need to improve is their reservation management. We had a reservation, and it took them over 30 minutes to seat us. So, be patient and arrive as early as possible.

They have a daily menu and we chose dinner from there. We chose seafood spaghetti and drank a red wine with the chef's suggestion and I can say we loved both. However, they do not accept reservations without reservations and you either have to go to the door yourself and make a reservation or by phone. We tried to reach them before our trip but it did not work out and we went to the door ourselves and made the reservation for the next day. Otherwise, you cannot say let's wait at the door and sit in line and they do not accept. They say they cannot accept anyone off the list. But I can say that it is a true Italian restaurant with its food, atmosphere and the warmth of the staff.

A restaurant that was recommended to us by a local — we’re so glad we asked, because we wouldn’t have found it otherwise. Amazing food! The best carbonara we had on the entire trip. Professional staff. A fantastic experience.

When I entered the place I thought: wow. So beautiful. And it smelled awesome! So I had high expectation. What we got at the end only partially met my expectations. Food was good. But not great. The steak was a bit chewy. But the fish and grilled cheese we had were very nice. The sautéed mussels came as a big portion but with many mussels not open. So at the end the portion was smaller than it looked.
Service was a bit disappointing. This place seems to be very popular among Americans. In fact, there was only one non American table apart from ours. And it seems as if Americans got a better service than us. I can only assume that they typically leave a better tip as they are used to high tipping in the US.

Not being able to take pictures says it all. Hidden in the streets of Trastevere this restaurant is a real gem. There are not many seats, I recommend booking! The best place in Trastevere!
