Le Mangiate di Sicilia In Palermo

Last night, a special dinner with a distinctly Palermo flavor. With four friends, we went to the "Le Mangiate di Sicilia" pizzeria and restaurant for the first time. It was a resounding success on all fronts: friendly and professional staff, impeccable cleanliness, and a menu that can satisfy any craving. We ordered musso salad, sweet and sour red squash, caldume, mangia e bevi, and plated spleen. These delicious dishes were served in abundance and we thoroughly enjoyed them, washed down with excellent bottled wine. Congratulations to the owner and best wishes for continued success. Excellent food, excellent spleen bread, and everything else is top-notch. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but given the quality of the food, you can get over it. I'll be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and isn't looking for a sophisticated atmosphere.

Dinner with colleagues, we sampled street food... I couldn't choose; my colleagues chose for me too. I don't like frittole, quarume, etc., but I can judge the pasta with sardines and the one with broccoli, and they're nothing special. The same goes for panelle and pani ca meusa (just lung... nothing else). In the end, we paid €27, which I think was too much for the atmosphere, food, and service. P.S. The baked cassata... I don't know where it comes from, but it's awful.

Authentic, traditional, high-quality. From appetizers to spleen, tripe, pizzas, sfincioni, and arancini. Not to mention the pork ragù and baked cassata. Spectacular

After a friend's recommendation, I finally tried this place. You should come prepared, because after ordering, you'll be tempted to order all the other dishes you see being brought to other tables. The cuisine is typically Palermitan, varied, and delicious. The service is friendly and casual, making you feel right at home. The prices are affordable. If you're craving the dishes you remember, you have to come here.

I often go with a group of friends and the food is good. The traditional menu has always been a good choice. I've occasionally brought friends from other Sicilian provinces, and they've been satisfied with both the pizza in the evening and the pasta at lunch. Warm hospitality and a simple, rustic atmosphere.
