Nothing to say...we came back here after 1 year and nothing to say other than "fabulous". Thanks to the young owners who brought a disused mill back to life... Strictly maintaining the nature of the place and the materials used for the renovation. The food is quality and a simple search for combinations makes it excellent. We spent 3 hours in the company of this family chatting about this and that. Literally fly. The place is enchanting, I realize that it is not for everyone, because not everyone can understand the inestimable value of freedom, respect and the things that our ancestors left us. Well done guys, we will definitely come back to visit you and spend a few more hours in the company of your little Alessandro. Who knows next time we'll find him baking pizzas, 😂a hug Deborah and Claudio

Fantastic food, highly recommended

Il posto è lungo da raggiungere ma davvero molto scenografico. Il locale è a gestione familiare e gode di una atmosfera molto rilassata, caratterizzata dalla grande gentilezza e simpatia dei titolari. C'è a mio avviso qualcosa da rivedere giusto nella prontezza da parte del personale (ci sono pochi addetti) e nella preparazione dei piatti, comunque nel complesso buoni.

Very welcoming place and people, family atmosphere. Very nice and clean environment. The food is excellent, each course is very generous, excellent quality of the raw materials. Very balanced quality/price ratio. It's just a shame about the distance from the outskirts, but it's worth walking along those beautiful streets, where among other things, you can meet various little animals on the roadside. Congratulations to the two young people who carry on this wonderful reality!

Mi considero un cliente delle Macine del Monte Croce che frequento da anni ma era da mesi che non c ero più venuto in quanto ogni volta che avevo telefonato per prenotare avevo trovato già tutto pieno. Domenica scorsa finalmente sono riuscito a fare un pranzo in famiglia e devo dire che anche stavolta sono rimasto più che soddisfatto. Location bellissima. Ambienti sia interni che esterni curati in ogni dettaglio. Il servizio al tavolo puntuale e professionale con i giusti tempi di attesa tra una portata e l altra. Ma la cosa più importante che intendo sottolineare è la varietà e la squisitezza dei piatti presentati in menù che principalmente provengono dalla loro azienda agricola. Nessun difetto sino ad ora trovato in quello che abbiamo assaggiato. A pranzo quest’ultima volta io personalmente ho ordinato un antipasto toscano con selezione di salumi e crostini (buonissimo), chiocciole in umido (eccezionali), patate al forno e funghi fritti (sublimi) e come dessert Macine del Monte Croce (base di amaretti, crema chantilly alla vaniglia e pere saltate in padella con uvetta) di una bontà e particolarità uniche. Menù mai banale, e una carta dei vini accuratamente selezionati che ti aspetti di trovare solo in un ristorante stellato di città. Prezzi più che onesti. Ancora una volta complimenti alle Macine con l’augurio che riescano a mantenere la cucina a questi livelli. A presto rivederci !
