25/08/2025: The structure, staff, services, and high-quality cuisine, all bathed in a wonderful sea, are the best you can find on a vacation. An experience to repeat.

23/08/2025: I waited until the last day to write this review. Il Gabbiano is perfect for a relaxing seaside vacation. It has everything you need; the room is spacious and clean, with a balcony. Breakfast is plentiful and offers a wide selection. The option of walking from your room to the beach or pool is priceless. For lunch, we chose to enjoy the delicious and reasonably priced sandwich shop, eating poolside overlooking the sea. In the evening, we chose to dine out because we visited different places, but from what we saw, the food at the hotel was certainly good too. After returning from dinner, we enjoyed the lounge bar with an excellent spritz and a garden overlooking the sea. Alternatively, on the hotel's various terraces, you could relax with a book or play a game of cards. Il Gabbiano is conveniently located near Civitavecchia's nightlife, about 1 km away, accessible on foot along the seafront or by car, allowing hotel guests to enjoy a vacation away from the hustle and bustle, yet still within easy reach of all the fun. I highly recommend it. Small flaws, no telephone operator has a good signal and the Wi-Fi cannot support the entire hotel user base.
