We've finally found the Sicilian cuisine we were looking for, the kind made for friends and family, the kind you'd want to take home and eat every day, even after your vacation. I can’t understand why this place isn’t packed all the time. The food is delicious - some of the best I had in Sicily- at incredibly reasonable prices. Plus, the service is wonderful. We took shelter here during a rain storm and were made incredibly comfortable. When we realized the restaurant had closed and started to leave, the owner (?) told us to stay and offered to serve us food. We didn’t want to impose, but decided to come back for dinner and were so very glad we did.

Una bellissima scoperta nel cuore di Scicli! Le Gioie è un locale tipico siciliano, un perfetto mix tra enoteca e trattoria minimal, dove la semplicità dell’ambiente si unisce a un tocco di raffinatezza che rende l’esperienza davvero piacevole. Il personale è stato accogliente e super disponibile, sempre gentile e attento senza essere invadente. Un grazie speciale alla cameriera, che ci ha guidate nella scelta del vino facendoci assaggiare diverse etichette prima di trovare quella perfetta per noi. Un gesto raro e molto apprezzato! Abbiamo ordinato due primi piatti di pesce, semplicemente eccezionali: sapori autentici, cottura perfetta e pesce freschissimo, valorizzato in ogni dettaglio. Una vera coccola per il palato. E per chiudere in bellezza, ci è stato portato un delizioso caffè con la moka, come a casa. Un piccolo gesto che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Un posto che consigliamo di cuore a chi cerca buona cucina, accoglienza sincera e atmosfera rilassata. Torneremmo volentieri
