Le Gabbiane In Chignolo po

This is a modest but well-kept place. Local food, delicious fried fish, cleaned of entrails and light fried. I would have eaten tons of them!!! Moderate prices. It's worth trying!!! The restaurant is located next to the Po River, a place to visit.

A pleasant discovery on the banks of the Po After the visit to the Chignolo Po Castle, we stopped in this very simple and pleasant restaurant, overlooking the river. The atmosphere is familiar, without too many frills, but with a truly beautiful view. The owner was very kind and helpful. We ate a mixed fry, a platter of cold cuts and a mixed salad. Simple but good dishes, which left us pleasantly satisfied. The view of the Po is enchanting, with a row of poplars which in spring makes everything more evocative (it looks like snow). Sometimes the simplest places, the unpretentious ones, are the ones that surprise you the most. A perfect place for those looking for a simple and relaxed lunch, away from the chaos and close to nature. I recommend it and we will definitely be back!
