A pleasant discovery on the banks of the Po After visiting the Chignolo Po Castle, we stopped at this very simple and pleasant restaurant, overlooking the river. The atmosphere is familiar, without too many frills, but with a truly beautiful view. The owner was very kind and helpful. We ate a mixed fried fish, a platter of cold cuts and a mixed salad. Simple but good dishes, which left us pleasantly satisfied. The view of the Po is enchanting, with a row of poplars that in spring makes everything more suggestive (it looks like snow). Sometimes the simplest places, the ones without pretensions, are the ones that can surprise the most. A perfect place for those looking for a simple and relaxed lunch, away from the chaos and close to nature. I recommend it and we will definitely be back!
