We found it somewhat by chance, looking for a place to eat traditional cuisine, and found much more: a good selection of game cured meats, first courses prepared with homemade pasta, and a truly vast selection of dishes prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients. It's a shame the place is small and, consequently, noisy, because even the terrace overlooking the lake has a charm that a quieter atmosphere would make even more enchanting. The waiters are excellent: attentive and kind, so much so that they deserve a generous tip. The prices are fair when commensurate with the quality. We left very satisfied. We will definitely be back, and more than happy to.

After a visit to Lake Castel Gandolfo, I searched Google for a place to eat and stared at this name on the screen: Le Fratte Ignoranti.
I decided to make a reservation, and in 15 minutes, given the traffic, I arrived at the restaurant. Don't be fooled by the outside, it's a restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. The food is excellent, as are the guys and girls who work there. We'll be back.

The restaurant is located in Albano, overlooking the lake. It's a welcoming, homey place, and the dishes reflect Roman tradition. The menu offers a wide selection (from appetizers to fried foods, from first courses to pizza), and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I recommend making a reservation.

Buon antipasto (abbiamo preso un misto di salumi, con qualche verdura, una fetta di porchetta e 2 bruschette), ottimi i primi (soprattutto le pappardelle al ragù bianco di cinghiale). Buone anche le fragole (sia di bosco che "comuni") ed il tiramisù. Peccato per il caffè davvero troppo acquoso! Semplice ma Carino il locale con una bella visuale sul Lago.
Probabilmente un po costoso vista la semplicità del locale (abbiamo speso 190€ in 7 di cui 3 bambini, per 3 antipasti, 6 primi, 1 secondo, 3 fragole e un tiramisù...). Consigliato
