From our room we had a spectacular view of the beach below and the island of Palmaiola. It is a place to relax, enjoy nature and the excellent food of the restaurant, which is run by the same family as the B&B. The owners are very kind and competent, this morning they went to Rio to buy us fresh bread for the sandwiches we asked them for our packed lunch, since everything in Cavo was closed as it was Sunday. The room was large and spotless

A slightly difficult place to reach, but which offers a terrace on the Fornacelle beach, a situation which in the evening is certainly very intimate and pleasant.
We went there for lunch being on the beach and we appreciated the quality and particularity of the dishes they offer. Genuine, some traditional dishes from Elba, not the usual dishes found in a seaside restaurant. Competent and friendly staff.

Good lunch at the seaside? It's the perfect place, I recommend the mixed starter so you can taste their starters, all delicious but the highlight were the first courses, we took two fresh homemade pastas with sea urchins! Abundant dish full of seasoning! To finish, a nice typical homemade sweet squash, always accompanied by a good aleatico. I think the owner, the gentleman who served us, was really kind and polite.

Restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, suitable for those looking for a moment of relaxation. Quality food with fresh and tasty food, perhaps a little expensive. Classic Elban hospitality. We go back often.

The place is spartan and the beach "wild" (but we also like it for this reason). With a little more forethought and greater care, the B&B would become a paradise. If I can I would recommend fixing the road that leads to
beach and consequently to the b&b itself. Being very narrow, it would be good if it were lit and possibly resurfaced. The managers of the b€b are very kind and extremely helpful. I repeat that if cared for a little more this becomes a special place.

Located in a somewhat difficult place to reach, it offers a very suggestive view of the north-east side of the island of Elba.
The menu offers dishes that remain the same over time and in quality with peaks of excellence such as, in my humble opinion, their Fornacelle starter, the gnocchi (strictly homemade) with mantis shrimp sauce and, finally, the trifle. It's an appointment I never miss.

Ristorante con location bellissima, terrazza direttamente sul mare. Piatti buonissimi. Antipasto delle fornacelle misto con un assaggio di polpo e patate, tonno sott'olio con cipolline e pomodori, sburrita di baccalà e alici impanate molto buono. Speciali tagliolini e gnocchetti fatti in casa con un ottimo sugo al riccio. Buonissima anche la schiaccia briaca! Consigliato

Beh io non commento i commenti degli altri, ma penso che abbiamo palati sopraffini, in quanto alle Fornacelle si pranza o si cena veramente molto ma molto bene, un po’ caruccio…..forse si , ma ne vale la pena io sono stato con moglie e figlia perciò il prezzo fatelo voi, il personale attentissimo e molto gentile, ha consigliato ma non ha voluto imporre nulla ha fatto il suo dovere egregiamente, antipasti misti per tre (mia figlia normalmente non si ciba di pesce) baccalà del minatorio buono, polpo tenerissimo ottimo, sardina fritta buonissima, tonno cipolla e peperoni buona, primi, tagliolini fatti in casa (sono più grossi di quelli di un supermercato propio perché fatti in casa) sugo di pesce con pomodoro senza crostacei ottimi, gnocchetti con ricci di mare freschi e non crudi buonissimi per finire stufato di totani alle cipolle anche questi buonissimi e baccalà, per finire i dolci abbiamo preso il loro tipico scusate non ricordo il nome, ma anche questo era molto buono il tutto condito da un buon vermentino dell’isola in bottiglia…..non della casa. Siamo andati via conoscendo le cuoche e salutandoci con tutti in maniera molto familiare. COMPLIMENTI COMPLIMENTI COMPLIMENTI, veramente da ritornare con molto piacere. Buon futuro
