We were staying at the nearby Donna Carmella Resort and Apartments and wanted a change from the delicious Michelin star dining there. Just a 5 minute cycle away is Carruba which, for such a small rural village, has some incredible places to eat. This deli is no exception. Incredibly friendly staff created some truly delicious authentic Sicilian sandwiches. The kind you could only dream of in the UK. They also stocked gread fresh produce. €1.50 for a bottle of beer instead of €6 at the resort is also a winner!!
