Le Caveau In Roma

This was my family's best dining experience in Rome ! The food was incredible. The spaghetti alla pescatora and the tirimisu is an absolute must. The most memorable part of the experience has to be the staff - they are absolutely adorable and hilarious. A special shoutout to Enrico who was amazing (spoke some words in Arabic to my father and Vietnamese to my mother !) and encouraged us to speak some Italian :) You have to stop by if you are in Rome 🥰

The atmosphere is pleasant. The service is pleasant. The food is good.

I came to Le Caveau with a group of 4 and we were able to be seated immediately. Based on the restaurant’s website and previous review I read, I was expecting a comfortable and casual atmosphere. These expectations were met with the friendly staff and casual attire of other diners. My group was able to eat, chat, and relax at our table. Their website also states that they provide quality food at affordable prices, and after dining here I would agree that the quality of food matches the prices. I ordered a caprese salad, fried calamari, and cheesecake and while these dishes were good, I noticed a consistent lack of flavor in these dishes. In my caprese salad, the romatoes did not have a powerful taste but mixed well with added balsamic vinegar. When my fried calamari arrived, I squeezed lemon on top but there were not enough distinct flavors in this dish as the friedness overpowered the calamari. I found that the cheesecake lacked the taste of cream cheese and ricotta and was dry. However, there were berries and a berry sauce poured on top which I found tasty. After dining here, I would say that Le Caveau achieved an aesthetic vision of blending history with modern. With the arches in the doorways, beige walls, and softer lighting, the restaurant achieved a warm and almost rustic environment. The walls were filled with different paintings of women but with the consistent theme of retro abstract, and I thought these bright colors helped add to the modern blend. Overall, I think Le Caveau provides a comfortable and casual dining experience with food at a reasonable price.

Everything was very good, and the prices were very reasonable. Recommended.

Seafood pasta was tasty with fresh seafood (and I come from Japan!). Tiramisu was light and not too sweet. Staff were nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this place. Paid 30 Euros for tiramisu, wine and pasta.

The food was great! Service was awesome. They were all very friendly and spoke several languages. We would 100% recommend this place! We had their homemade lasagna and 4 fommagi pizza with honey! Delicious!

Came here for our honeymoon dinner, food was phenomenal! Pasta was fresh and delicious. I have to highly commend the staff here too, they were all lovely and professional and even made us giggle with a few jokes! I would 100% recommend coming here, the service is great, the food is great and the atmosphere is great. I really appreciated that the staff gave us a dessert for our special occasion! I will come here again during my time in Rome.
