I had ravioli with truffle sauce, tomato pasta, and caprese. Especially the ravioli was really delicious. Although she could only speak poor English and Italian, she tried to communicate with us somehow.
When the table was full of food, we added a shelf to create more space for drinks.

We ate really well in this restaurant. The pasta was excellent! A real delight. The waiter can seem a little temperamental and unhappy if you don't eat a lot and that's a shame. It's very hot, the weather doesn't necessarily lend itself to drinking a bottle of wine and having a dessert at the end of the meal... but the taste quality was really there.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. So welcoming and such a beautiful location.
Vilma is the perfect host, backed up by Leo and Michele they are multilingual and happy to advise on what you might like.
My daughter and I had the bruschetta and chicken liver crostini to start followed by the parpadelle in wild boar sauce (real pieces of meat not ground stuff) and the homemade tortelli filled with potato and meat sauce. Both delicious.
I had a glass of pint grigio and a glass of chianti. Both exquisite.
Dined out three times in Florence but this was by far the best.
Thank you so much Vilma. Proper Tuscan family restaurant sensibly priced.

Went here expecting good food, left with a very full and happy stomach. Has the best ravioli I have ever had. Amazing, would recommend.

The owner, his wife, even children are all involved to provide a wonderful experience. There are so many restaurants to choose from, but please visit this one if you are in the San Lorenzo market area. Very relaxing. Food is excellent. Beautifully decorated and clean. Notice that the food is served on plates that are visually appealing - somebody thought about this (thank you). We had the salami/cheese board, salad, soups, pastas, desserts, coffee. The table next to us had a thick Florentine steak which I looked fantastic. There were a mix of Italians and tourists like myself.

Escolhido pela pontuação do Google mapa e fomos conferir a cozinha toscana do Lê Capelle di Medicee. Atendimento rápido e cortez. Todos
Foram de pasta. Muito bem servida as porções e antipastos. Provamos o Chiante Ruffino, mas não nos surpreendeu.
