Spent a week in the town of Pergine Valdarno and couldn't have imagined a more wonderful place, highlighted by the food and staff at Ristorante Le Cantine. Food was fantastic and the owners and staff showed true hospitality. Amazing.

Every time I go to Pergine I can't help but have dinner or lunch in this restaurant where I have always found quality cuisine with first-rate raw materials. The kindness and professionalism of the owners are the backdrop to the excellent service. The Florentine steak served on a hot stone and the flambéed pork loin are the owner's specialities. Highly recommended. Excellent wine list. Adequate value for money.

Ristorante scelto su trip grande conferma il servizio svolto dalla ragazza in sala di cui non conosco il nome mi ha colpito dalla prenotazione effettuata telefonicamente per la gentilezza e la disponibilità confermata durante la cena, con eccellente servizio e padronanza anche della lingua inglese. Aggiungo le pietanze ben preparate e di ottima qualità, in particolare la carne e il semifreddo alla grappa molto leggero e gustoso sempre consigliato dalla ragazza in sala, in fine rapporto qualità prezzo buono

Mentre tutto intorno sembrava impossibile trovare un posticino per cenare, questo locale “storico “ ci ha sorpresi, con piatti tipici di eccelsa qualità. Una cucina genuina che mi ha fatto apprezzare la mia prima “pappa al pomodoro “. Consigliatissimo!!

18/07/2025: As a Cortona native who hasn't lived in Cortona for a long time, I loved the place, the owner, and the staff. Excellent food, divine tiramisu (recommended by a delightful employee), and an incredible wine cellar. I'll be back in the fall.
17/07/2025: We received a very warm welcome and the owner spoiled us. He was very generous and kind. The food is excellent, especially the stewed beef and the fennel salami. Thank you sincerely!

20/04/2025: Colpita da un'accoglienza da vero ristoratore. Semplice e senza tanti fronzoli, ma accogliente. Tavoli molto ordinati, ed anche l'apparecchiatura adatta al posto. Vicinissimo al centro, ma esterno. Antipasto ragionevole, i tortelli di patate buoni. Il ragù di chianina veramente buono, senza tanto pepe. Ognuno può decidere quanto metterne!!! No??? I dolci buoni. Ho adorato il vinsanto con i cantucci che erano veramente buoni, senza averli chiesti! È così che si fa. Qui si vede che c'è mestiere. Ci ritornerei subito.
