Very nice place, especially the room on the lower floor, adjacent to the kitchen where we had lunch during one of my work breaks in the area... I will definitely go back in the evening where I will take this opportunity and publish some photos

e bellezza del locale. Consigliata da un collega, la trattoria "Le Cantine Dello Stagnino" mi ha conquistato coi suoi piatti tipici liguri, il personale gentile e il locale accogliente. Consiglio i taglierini al sugo di lepre e i pansoti alle erbette con salsa di noce, oltre all'arista con patate di contorno o la guancia con purea di patate. Bene la selezione dei vini. Che dire, ci sono già tornato dopo la piacevole scoperta e ci ritornerò.

Locale caratteristico, rustico, cucina tipica ligure a prezzi onesti e porzioni abbondanti. Unica nota di demerito la temperatura della saletta dove abbiamo mangiato era veramente troppo bassa, questo ci ha rovinato un pranzo altrimenti piacevole.

12/06/2025: I went for the first time today to have an excellent coffee standing at the counter in this small and welcoming café located inside the Genova Principe train station with tables inside and also outside with a view of the station. I have been frequenting several other places in Mentelocale for years every day such as in Via Garibaldi and in Via Balbi and I have always had a great time. In this café you can have breakfast and also lunch with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The staff as always in all the other places in Mentelocale are welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and they only serve you at the table at lunch while for coffee, toasts and other drinks you order, pay and then collect your order and good prices!! 02/05/2025: We stopped for lunch today 02.05 after a tour along the seafront of Cogoleto. We weren't aware of the place, it's located a little further away from the walk... But what can I say! The restaurant was recently renovated, the light colors bring a lot of light and then Mr. Andrea, very nice. Excellent service, Mrs. Gabriella as well as a cook prepares sublime dishes. The fresh pasta first courses are very abundant, so much so that even with one first course you are full! After the pasta we also tried the mixed fry which was super successful. Despite the generous portions, they are still light as well as good and tasty. The dessert, excellent! Atmosphere with relaxing music in the background and the bill, compared to the quality and quantity of the food, is perfect.
