There were four of us: some very good dishes.
Some things to keep in mind: poor organization (is the family-run business partly to blame?); the Valdostan soup here is prepared without cabbage. I ordered a Valdostan-style rib steak: it's not specified that the size of the rib steak can vary greatly (but the price doesn't). Always ask: you risk overpaying for a dish or wasting food.

Welcoming place and very friendly staff. Meticulously prepared dishes. We've been there for lunch, dinner, and aperitif, and we've always had a great time. Highly recommended.

Le Cadran Solaire is a restaurant that combines both very traditional Alpine food, with Italian classics found elsewhere in the country. To start I had the mixed salad (for as well as I could interpret it) which had corn, tomatoes, and ham, which you could drizzle with both olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For my entreé I had the pork shank, which was stuffed with cheese and shaved meat, and served with roasted potatoes that were very delicious. This was clearly a classic meal, and could easily feed two to three people with moderate appetites. For dessert I sampled both the lemon cake as well as the chocolate dessert. The lemon cake had a mild flavor, and was both light, and moist. The chocolate dessert was reminiscent of a chocolate rice crispy but was served cold, with dollops of cream on the side. Simple, yet delicious with a satisfying crunch.
My party sat outside and although the weather was nice, I would recommend making a reservation for inside as there were many flies.

Very nice place, very kind staff and excellent food. I don't eat much, but I really wanted to finish the plate of polenta concia, it was too good.

Beautiful place, as well-kept inside as outside. The waiting staff is very prepared and knows how to make the meal a pleasant experience, serving dishes that are beautiful to look at, with generous portions and tasty, well done!

Excellent restaurant.
Good food and warm atmosphere.
Given that the waitress was very kind to us, the only flaw is that when we were there there were many changes to the menu which were only verbally reported to us by the waitress, if there are a couple it's not a problem but when there are many it would be better to make a piece of paper to attach to the menu otherwise the customer will forget what he was told.

Ho preso caffè e un salame di cioccolato per i bimbi, il salame molto buono, il caffè un po’ meno. La cortesia è l’ospitalità è stata eccezionale, senza contare che dalla cucina arrivava un profumino niente male, ho dato quatto su cinque per il caffè che era un po’ bruciato per i miei gusti
