Le Bistrot In Roma

I recently visited Le Bistrot, a place with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, managed by a young and courteous staff who make the experience pleasant. The culinary proposal is extremely simple - perhaps too simple: despite the care taken in the preparation, the presentation is so essential that it makes the dishes appear a little "sad". It wouldn't take much to make them more appealing, like two roasted potatoes next to the scallops or a vegetable cream cheese on the spaghetti, for example (I attach photos). Given the small number of dishes on the menu, one would expect shorter waiting times: for two first courses, a second course and a cup of ice cream, we spent around three hours (from 8.30pm to 11.30pm), an aspect that it could definitely be improved. Overall, however, it was a positive experience, thanks also to the courtesy of the girls in the room and the honest quality-price ratio.

A very familiar place, characterized by an elegant Christmas atmosphere. The food is crazy, we tried a braised legume that melted in your mouth and an exceptional coconut cake. The owners are welcoming and very nice! I absolutely recommend going there🌱

I always come back very willingly. Very welcoming, warm place. It feels like being in 🏡. Original and very good dishes.

Magic, flavour, wisdom, excellence.

Amazing place, fantastic environment. The restaurant inside is beautiful, it feels like entering an atmosphere "far away" from Rome. Soft music, warm lights, aesthetic taste of the place in line with what they offer. The food? What am I saying..... FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would! Very good. Furthermore, everything is family-run (AND IT FEELS positive), the chef (the father) is uniquely friendly 🩷🩷 having said this: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Such a lovely place! Great food in a homey environment and personal service. Long way from the city center and not exactly cheap, but worth it for special occasions. The food is wonderful, fully vegan, filling and comforting. The dishes change frequently apparently, but if you see the Tuscan soup definitely go for it, it's especially delicious. The starters too. The dessert I had (pear chocolate cake) was less exceptional, but great experience anyway. They also have a guesthouse nearby.

The place is very nice and welcoming, the food is good. Some things left me perplexed, I order a Lugana from Cá dei Frati and they serve me a Lugana from another company telling me that Cá dei Frati had changed labels. During the meal I checked, and it was from another company. I could be told that the Cá dei Frati was finished and that of another company was available (nothing wrong). Again, I order paccheri, but on the plate there were paccheri and rigatoni. Now if the paccheri were finished or the packages in the pantry were few and you try to satisfy all requests, I can also understand it, but it must be said. You can't put me in front of a fait accompli.

What a beautiful evening, with excellent, tasty and original dishes, a stylish venue and the owners, as always, delightful and friendly. We enjoyed some delicious supplì prepared by Daddy Chef, a delicious slice (of legumes) alla pizzaiola and some soft and aromatic vegetable meatballs. The always attentive and warm but never intrusive welcome is the hallmark of Barbara and Daniela, feeling pampered like at home while tasting real comfort food at every course. A Bistro that everyone likes, vegans and non-vegans.

I've known them for 25 years and I've always followed them... never any doubts!!

Family atmosphere, genuine and plentiful food, excellent! I tried the chicory with broad bean puree and the spaghetti with olive ink. Greetings to Ronny ;)
