Le Bindi - Bottega di Cuoco In Monte san savino

A restaurant just a minute away from the central piazza serving you a flow of bites that gradually become bigger. The top floor has one communal table that sits 20, while downstairs is a bit more personal. The food is innovative yet local, I suspect the menu comes together for every evening just before the service. The staff is friendly and at the end of the meal it feels like you're living in the town.

It's not to be described, but to be tried. Frankly, 5S isn't enough, but it can't be more. The appetizer was a selection of samples, many samples, truly a riot of flavors. The porcini mushroom risotto was sublime, and the meat was fantastic. But I repeat, it's worth trying. Finally, they have a selection of high-end wines.

Quando ti immedesimi nel meglio poi finisci col rimanere a bocca storta o semichiusa. Locale piccolo mangiando tutti assieme, circa 20 o più sconosciuti, oltre, con la bella stagione, tavoli esterni che danno nel centro cittadino. Non c'è menù e quello che arriva sulla tavola, numerose portte, è tutto una sorpresa. Lo sapevamo e avevamo prenotato con anticipo anche perchè le recensioni erano positive nel complesso. Volevamo provare questo modo particolare di pranzare ma l'esperienza non è stata proprio positiva. Piatti informali, preparati con ricette e ortaggi particolari, ma diversi non soddisfacevano il palato. Vuoi perchè troppo aromatizzati, vuoi perchè freddi o insapori. Insomma portate diverse ma buone non tante. Il prezzo è abbastanza modico ma se prendi un vino della cantina, considerato a parte, questo cresce di molto. Un altro appunto è che vai a tavola e ci resti troppo tempo seduto con i vari e sconosciuti commensali e senti sovente l'esigenza d i alzarti per s granchirti.
