The Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely fantastic. We arrived around 11:00 a.m. It wasn't busy yet, and we had a nice spot. The staff were very friendly.

If you want to take a beautiful, simple trip in a paradise of mountains and uncontaminated nature, this is the right place. Once you arrive at the mountain hut, you can taste excellent local cuisine. Suitable for everyone,

Beautiful hike from Pfelders to Lazinser Alm. Duration: approx. 1.5 hours with a slight incline. To the hut itself. The prices offer an excellent price-performance ratio. Facilities are new and modern and the service is great.

🌞 Wonderful panorama on the sun terrace, friendly and attentive service, very tasty omelette, the fried eggs with roasted potatoes were also excellent. All other dishes were just as fresh and very tasty. 😋 Overall, the hospitality was exceptionally recommended. 👍 Inside, the rooms were comfortable and well-kept. We'd love to come back! 🤗

Splendid recently renovated hut. It is also a farmhouse that offers local dishes with farm products. Generous portions. The path to get there is beautiful, which takes about 1.5 hours from Plan. Open in both winter and summer.

15/06/2025: Wonderful food and setting. We came in mid June and enjoyed the green views. Many outdoor tables with large umbrellas so we won’t get sun burnt. Service is great. I love that the food is decorated with flowers, very pretty. I tried kaiserschmarnn for the first time here - so delicious! Many places list it as a main item but here they offer it as dessert too. You can park your car by the side of the road.
13/06/2025: Great food, service and a beautiful view from the terrace. We definitely recommend stopping here.

Winklerhof

22/06/2025: We stopped at the Winklerhof for refreshments and a drink while hiking along the Rabland Waalweg. Both the vitello tonnato (unfortunately, no photo) and the hotel's own interpretations of desserts are highly recommended. The service was also very friendly, the prices reasonable, and the ambiance pleasant.
17/06/2025: My absolute favorite... A visit to Rabland is incomplete without the Winklerhof. Super delicious food, amazing service, and the view of the Vinschgau Valley is not to be despised! ...and I brought the Kaiserschmarrn for later...An absolute culinary experience! Maybe we'll manage to stay overnight in the apartment sometime!
