We have been guests at the Laubenkeller for years and have always been treated as valued guests and received excellent service. The entire staff is friendly and competent. The negative reviews are incomprehensible and, in our opinion, unfounded. We wish the Laubenkeller and its staff all the very best and a successful 2026!

Located under the arcades in the center of Merano, this restaurant is quaint and tastefully decorated. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide fast and attentive service. We ordered two first courses, two types of ravioli, and a main course. We were satisfied, and if you're in the area, I recommend trying their dishes. Prices are in line with average prices.

Unfortunately, there's nothing typical about it anymore, just reheated dishes, and the service isn't at all up to the standard of a restaurant. It's a shame it's in the heart of the historic center.

Great restaurant in the heart of Merano. The two of us had a lovely evening there. Delicious food and fine wines. The service was attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend it.

We received a very warm welcome at the Laubenkeller! The service was perfect and the food outstanding! The menu offers something for every palate 😋 We highly recommend this Laubenkeller in the center of Merano 👍🏼 We'd love to go back

Delicious South Tyrolean food (we had South Tyrolean rösti with white cabbage salad and speck and spinach dumplings with Gorgonzola sauce) at reasonable prices in a rustic, cozy setting 😋; The restrooms appear to have been recently renovated and were spotlessly clean.

04/01/2025: Posto unico.. Location splendida dove si respira l'essenza della FORST... Ogni angolo evoca la storia del birrificio.. Ampio parcheggio privato, cibo ottimo del luogo.. Prezzi bassi, personale gentile e attento... Servizio veloce... NB.. OCCORRE PRENOTARE..
28/12/2024: Locale dove si mangia cucina tipicamente dell'Alto Adige. Si.beve ottima birra prodotta dalla locale birreria Forst ( veramente buona)

31/08/2025: Driven by curiosity for a very frank response to a negative review, I chose to eat at this restaurant, and the result was excellent. The food was good, plentiful, with attention to the plating, excellent table service, a magnificent view from the large windows, and prices absolutely in line with other restaurants in the valley. 10 out of 10
