My family and I eat here very often and always feel completely at ease.
The atmosphere is pleasant, cozy, and ideal for people who don't want to eat in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Laubengasse. Laubenkeller is located in a quiet side street. The service is always friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. The food is consistently good. The menu features many Tyrolean dishes without any unnecessary frills.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed setting after a shopping trip!

I don't understand the negative reviews. The customer isn't always right. When we go to a restaurant, we're going to someone's home, so we have to respect the work of others.
That said, excellent food, excellent service, fair price.

Everything seemed excellent, the location and the food, until I noticed a small white larva, typical of flour and grains, floating in my barley soup. I sent it back, and the waiter offered to remake it, but by then I was disgusted. But the real surprise was being charged for it and having to ask for it to be removed from the bill.
After a slight protest from the waiter, who reminded us he'd offered to remake the soup, he removed it from the bill.
Poor treatment given the lack of hygiene and quality of the raw materials demonstrated.

Fantastic traditional restaurant. We frequented this place years ago and returned last night and it never disappoints!! The meat was fantastic and we had a truly enjoyable evening.

We have been guests at the Laubenkeller for years and have always been treated as valued guests and received excellent service. The entire staff is friendly and competent. The negative reviews are incomprehensible and, in our opinion, unfounded. We wish the Laubenkeller and its staff all the very best and a successful 2026!

Located under the arcades in the center of Merano, this restaurant is quaint and tastefully decorated. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide fast and attentive service. We ordered two first courses, two types of ravioli, and a main course. We were satisfied, and if you're in the area, I recommend trying their dishes. Prices are in line with average prices.

Unfortunately, there's nothing typical about it anymore, just reheated dishes, and the service isn't at all up to the standard of a restaurant. It's a shame it's in the heart of the historic center.
