It only took a weekend to realize this place is special... welcoming and clean! For breakfast, we found the table completely free of everything, both sweet and savory... and for those who need it, they also have gluten-free products (although not certified). Overall, I highly recommend it!

Excellent and plentiful food, but high prices. For example, charging €8 for a (poor) glass of wine is madness. Even a €3 service charge for a mountain tavern is out of line.

Small, nice rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean but had a few minor issues: you had to hold the toilet lid down manually, which meant sitting with your face against the wall; the bathroom was very cramped!
The food was delicious, and there were gluten-free alternatives.

Two, maybe three, wonderful discoveries.
The town of Sauze d'Oulz is truly beautiful; I didn't know it.
Hotel Assietta, right in the center, exceeded all expectations.
I highly recommend it.
The third discovery: the staff (almost entirely female) are always smiling and professional.

Found by chance as we were passing by Oulx and had to stop somewhere for the night. Really authentic and nice staff. Rooms in excellent condition and with charm. Breakfast was super! Would go back
