Among the best pastry shops in the Terra d'Otranto area, the Caputo brothers offer the best pasticciotto in Salento (according to my discerning palate) and many flavors beyond the traditional classic custard! Their latest addition: Borsci San Marzano Elisir cream, an enchanting delight! Inimitable! The anemic pasticciotto, with powdered sugar, dry cream inside, and soft, moist shortcrust pastry without the characteristic blackened edges, you won't find it here! Krapfen phenomenal, still warm, I haven't eaten one so good in years! Excellent cream, fried not greasy and not heavy. Friendly staff, honest prices. I will return to try the monachina.

La miglior pasticceria di tutta Maglie. Sfornano pasticciotti anche nel pomeriggio, data la grande richiesta che hanno. Personale gentilissimo e molto cortese.

27/07/2025: On vacation nearby, we decided to find a place for dinner for two... I called and made a reservation at this osteria where the reviews already spoke for themselves. We arrived and were quickly seated. I immediately noticed a wide selection of beers and wines, which I appreciated. I decided to order a local craft beer, which I highly recommend because it's really good! We started with two appetizers (arancini and baked potatoes), followed by fresh pasta. I had the typical homemade pasta with horse meat sauce, which was EXCEPTIONAL!!! My partner had tagliolini with lobster, which was PHENOMENAL!!! The dishes were super delicious, but above all, PLENTY! You leave the table feeling full and happy! We finished it all off with sorbet and amaro. For a total of only €54!!!! I felt compelled to leave a tip because they truly deserve it!! Excellent place, top-quality food, really fair prices!! We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend this place for a dinner with excellent food, good beers, friendly waiters, generous portions, and super fair prices. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars, not just 5! Go there, you won't regret it. 👍👍👍
27/07/2025: Simply AMAZING ✨ incredible that a place like this exists! Really! TOP quality/price ratio, exquisite food (tourists would stay there for months)... everything WONDERFUL! I recommend everyone to go there, it's truly a gem! I had something off the menu (tagliolini with lobster), costing €20, and the portion they brought me was worth DOUBLE 😍✨ Go there because you'll leave full, happy, and very satisfied ♥️

Trattoria Osteria Del Buonuomo

28/07/2025: A small restaurant offering an interesting menu. The dishes, inspired by local tradition, are very tasty and well-prepared, including those featuring horse meat that we particularly enjoyed. We really enjoyed the tagliata, meatballs, and "pezzetti" (small pieces). The price/quality ratio is favorable.
28/07/2025: Our second visit to this restaurant, and once again we were satisfied. The appetizers were varied and plentiful, the first courses were really good, and the desserts were excellent. We'll be back again.
