What an unforgettable evening at the L'ARIA restaurant at the MANDARIN ORIENTAL hotel on the shores of Lake Como! The setting is absolutely splendid. The dishes were remarkably refined and fine: the grilled salmon sushi was delicate, the Black Angus incredibly tender, and the coconut dessert, a truly stunning trompe-l'oeil, was the perfect finishing touch. The welcome and service were, unsurprisingly, worthy of this exceptional venue. A culinary experience to be repeated without hesitation.

My recent dining experience at L˜ARIA was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting and sophisticated. The food was exquisite – each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. However, what truly elevated our evening was the outstanding service we received. In particular, I would like to extend a special thank you to Sonali Choudhury. Her attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcome and well-looked after. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Sonali's professionalism and friendly demeanor are a real asset to L˜ARIA. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at L˜ARIA and will certainly be returning. Stunning evening. Dined while staying at the Mandarin. Service was top notch! Everyone is so kind and attentive. The dishes were beautifully executed and were well balanced! Could not recommend this restaurant more!

A memorable night here at the Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como. With a reservation, you park and get chauffeured to the restaurant in a cute buggie down the road. Before the meal, they invite you to enjoy the view and take pictures. Once you get to the restaurant, we were greeted by the host and taken to our table where we had incredible views of the lake. We decided to enjoy the 15-course tasting menu not including the massive dessert. The most delicious dishes were the lobster rigatoni, tiger prawn, and wagyu beef. All the dishes have impeccable ingredients so you can’t go wrong. We cannot wait to go back to this Michelin starred restaurant next time we’re in Lake Como.
