I haven't written a review for a while but this place deserved it.
After a visit to the marble quarries we went down to Colonnata and near the parking lot we found this place where, for a few cents, we had a divine lunch.
Quick and fantastic service, huge cutting board with artfully layered layers of cured meats and cheeses, lard and porchetta in particular were exceptional but everything was quality, good tarts and vegetables, very good sgabei and eggplant and ginger jam. Good wine and very good homemade desserts.

April 2025: we were there for lunch during the week, it was just us, kind and helpful owner, friendly waitress. we made a sort of fixed menu. we tasted a good appetizer of cured meats/pecorino with fried pasta, savory pies and vegetables, house wine, water and dessert and coffee

We discovered it two years ago after taking a walk to the Davide mural and since then every time we come to Marina di Massa we come...
Quiet place, classic trattoria, welcoming, the owners very kind, very helpful and very nice.
Fixed menu with a huge platter of excellent cured meats and cheeses and a mountain of lard, savory vegetable pies, pickled vegetables made by them and cheeses accompanied by jams, excellent coffee jams, excellent homemade cakes....very honest price
On Saturday they also had potato tortelli filled with ragù....the end of the world🙂🙂🙂🙂

Mi spiace solo non aver fotografato i dolci.
Tutto perfetto ed è stato splendido anche fare amicizia coi vicini di tavolo mentre Samantha ci spiegava ogni suo piatto.

Nice little place in the delightful Colonnata. The restaurateur is very kind and the platter of cheeses and cured meats with crescentine is excellent. Top lard but then again this is the capital

Top place!
Discovered after a nice walk, they offer a fixed menu with cold cuts (including lard eh) fried zeppole, blanched and pickled vegetables, bread, cheeses, savory pies, wine, water, sweet coffee 20 euros per person!
The place is cute, characteristic and original!
The managers are friendly and professional.
Will come back every time!
