Right by the station and they had plenty of seating when I went mid day. English friendly as well as gluten free friendly. Their pizzas and pastas are gluten free optional.

Decent spot and overall good food, but the staff were not clear at all and were honestly in telling us the vegetable of the day. They told it was zucchini and peppers, when we got the bill they charged us twice - once for zucchini and once for peppers. This was for a plate you would find at any other Roman restaurant with both together under 'verdure grigliata'. Also, the octopus dish was cold in some parts and we sent it to be further cooked.

Having just arrived in Rome, we stopped, somewhat randomly, at this restaurant, which immediately immersed us in Italian gastronomy. The beautiful menu and beautiful decor allowed us to have a pleasant time enjoying very good food at a reasonable price. A few more smiles from the staff and the whole experience would have been perfect.

We popped into this restaurant while out sightseeing. Very friendly staff who speak excellent English. Restaurant was lovely and cool and a welcome respite from the heat. They have some tables outside too if you prefer. The service was very efficient, with just the right amount of time between ordering, drinks delivered to the table and then food arriving. The food was really tasty and a lovely glass (or two) of Prosecco to go with it. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Dopo una giornata stancante a camminare durante una gita a Roma , appena usciti dalla ns fermata metro , stanchi e affamati ci siamo fermati nel primo locale svoltando l’angolo e siamo rimasti soddisfatti .. abbiamo preso la pizza ( buona) e due bevande. Personale gentilissimo e prezzo onesto . Contenti !!!

22/10/2025: We were able to eat on the terrace on October 22nd, the service was quick and pleasant. The prices were reasonable even though everything is too expensive in Rome, the dishes were good (but not in large quantities), the tiramisu was incredible, and I still recommend this restaurant!
21/10/2025: Everything was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Hostaria dai Ghiottoni is a true Roman trattoria: a simple and authentic atmosphere, generous portions, and truly excellent dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. The desserts are also absolutely worth it, highly recommended! Well done guys, keep up the good work—I'll definitely be back! 🍝🍷
