L'Arcangelo In Roma

Maybe 4,5 stars, but for very tiny details! FYI: This review is a year late. I'm sorry :') I had the octopus salad and the onion ravioli and they were both delicious! There were veeery tiny problems. The skin of the octopus was a bit too soft, therefore a bit slimy for my taste, but this might just be the way they prefer it, other than that it was cooked perfectly! Similar thing with the potatoes, slightly undercooked but again, maybe they make it al dente on purpose :) Other than these, which are again, small issues, it was very good, the flavour was amazing. Also fyi: this is a hot salad. The ravioli was incredible! It was cooked perfectly, obviously. Would love to have it again some day. The only small issue was that the cardamom was spread unevenly, what I mean is that some of the raviolos had a very intense cardamom flavour while others had very little. But again, this is a very small issue. I truly loved this dish! I went to this beautiful restaurant because it was very close to my hotel and I'm glad I did it! The ambiance was so nice too.

We had a nice dinner, very stylish place, great food, good and friendly service. Prawns and ravioli were great. A nice selection of wine from all over Italy. Dessert was also good. With grappa and lemonchello it was a prefect ultimate supper in Rome.
