Kibanda Afro Beach Bar

12/07/2026: The pizza was decent. Nice place.
11/07/2026: Excellent Afro-style seaside restaurant, very large and spacious, this is a restaurant-pizzeria on the shore. On a supposedly muggy day, we had a wonderful time, thanks to the sirocco wind cooled by the sea. The welcome was very kind, and they suggested we opt for the restaurant menu instead of the pizzeria, due to the place being packed. In just the right amount of time, we received an excellent mixed fried fish dish, full of fresh anchovies, and I recommend the kibanda spaghetti with clams and calamari.

Pizzeria da Mario's

05/06/2026: Coinciding with the arrival of summer, Mario's, aka Mario's Pizzeria, raises the shutters and fires up the oven, becoming, as always, an irresistible draw for quick and tasty pit stops. Plain and stuffed pizzas, all kinds of pizza by the slice, cecina, and more, accompanied by drinks, are the object of desire of the many who, for a snack, lunch break, afternoon snack, or dinner, head to the seafront at Viale Italia 29 in Follonica. Their hopes are never dashed. Thanks also to the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Prices are more than competitive.
02/06/2026: While on vacation in Follonica, intrigued by the lines outside, we decided to try this pizzeria. We ordered a Margherita and a stuffed pizza, but unfortunately, our expectations were disappointed. Furthermore, finding it open is a bit of a gamble, given that the hours seem random. Honestly, we can't recommend it.
