Non vivo più a Monteverde vecchio e conseguentemente era tanto tempo che non ritornavo in quella che è stata per anni la mia pizzeria del cuore. Ho ritrovato lo stesso ambiente familiare, accogliente ed amichevole, ottimi fritti (consiglio a tutti la mozzarella fritta) e pizza romana croccante e gustosa. Non comprendo le recensioni poco lusinghiere anche perché il rapporto qualità prezzo è rimasto davvero imbattibile. Tornerò con immenso piacere!

Family-run restaurant located in the historic part of Monteverde Vecchio. This restaurant offers everything from pizza and fried foods to meat and fish, a wide selection of first and second courses. Excellent value for money. Courtesy and professionalism from the staff and owners. Outdoor dining is available. Excellent compliance with current Covid regulations. It's impossible not to return to try all their specialties. To finish the meal, I recommend the wild strawberries with vanilla ice cream and a spectacular Amaro d'Abruzzo liqueur, expertly served. M.S.D.S. It can only be said that at Antica Roma, every dinner is a discovery, so you'll have to return often to make new discoveries.

Not everything was to my taste. In Caccio in Pepe, little pepper. Suppli dry, but even tasty. Bruschetta with tomatoes not bad, especially the olive oil - very high quality and delicious. I recommend the pizza with bresaola and parmesan. Delicious!

In the center of Monteverde Vecchio here you find Roman specialties cooked the old way. Sitting outside or inside, hospitality is the first quality of this trattoria.

Ristorante superlativo in quartiere caratteristico e tranquillo, prezzi accessibili. Personale sempre cortese. Il punteggio ingiustamente basso allontana i turisti che credono nelle recensioni come all'oracolo di Delfi: il ristorante è pieno di romani, talvolta c'è da fare un po' di attesa, il che vale più di mille recensioni. Sauté di cozze il migliore che abbia mai mangiato, pizze tra le migliori di Roma (non secche e piccole come certe "rinomate" taverne), antipasti fritti saporitissimi, asciutti e cotti alla perfezione. Ingredienti sempre di prima qualità. In rari casi sono surgelati, come carciofini e gamberi, ma basta evitarli. Baccalà, fiori di zucca, fritto di zucchine, supplì da manuale. Atmosfera vivace ma familiare, mai volgare, proprietari e personale brava gente, in un'epoca di pescecani è un bonus all'esperienza culinaria. Se volessi scoprire nuovi posti partirei da quelli coi punteggi più bassi, dove sono certo ci sono i (veri) migliori ristoranti di Roma

Away from the crowds, we were served in the Roman style. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Back after a long time, maybe on the wrong night... A chaotic Saturday, to avoid on these hot pre-summer evenings. The pizzas were not that great compared to the average we are used to. I remembered the fried foods better, in particular the supplì which were quite disappointing, standard, without soul. Weary service, let's say. Prices in line with what was offered. Too bad because the place, especially the outdoor terrace, is very characteristic, nestled in the heart of Monteverde Vecchio. We will try again though, I promise.

It's a shame some customers didn't refrain from letting 8 of their children make a mess in the place, repeatedly!
