L'Antica Roma In Roma

I often go there with a friend of mine from Basilicata when we're in Rome. They're always available and kind.

I decided to treat myself — got a bonus on a website (you can see it in the photo) and went out for dinner. Ordered seafood pasta — simple but honestly delicious. Didn’t spend it all, but it made the evening much nicer.

Excellent food! Pretty nice atmosphere! But very slow service. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a plate of fettuccine with mushrooms... I recommend getting a snack before coming here.

I was there for a birthday, the room we were taken to was suitable for the number of guests, the staff was quick in their timing and left space to talk, the pizza was good but a little burnt

I was really happy with the price-to-quality ratio — got a fresh and tasty meal for a very fair price. Everything was great! I also discovered a handy calorie-counting service (shown in the photo) — I use it all the time now. It quickly calculates calories and macros, highly recommend it to anyone watching their diet.

Delicious food. The pizza is amazing and the staff is fantastic.

What can I say? Max and his crew are FANTASTIC.

Flavors of yesteryear, a family atmosphere, and always smiling staff. The dishes and flavors are exceptional. Delicious fried mozzarella.

Non vivo più a Monteverde vecchio e conseguentemente era tanto tempo che non ritornavo in quella che è stata per anni la mia pizzeria del cuore. Ho ritrovato lo stesso ambiente familiare, accogliente ed amichevole, ottimi fritti (consiglio a tutti la mozzarella fritta) e pizza romana croccante e gustosa. Non comprendo le recensioni poco lusinghiere anche perché il rapporto qualità prezzo è rimasto davvero imbattibile. Tornerò con immenso piacere!

Ristorante superlativo in quartiere caratteristico e tranquillo, prezzi accessibili. Personale sempre cortese. Il punteggio ingiustamente basso allontana i turisti che credono nelle recensioni come all'oracolo di Delfi: il ristorante è pieno di romani, talvolta c'è da fare un po' di attesa, il che vale più di mille recensioni. Sauté di cozze il migliore che abbia mai mangiato, pizze tra le migliori di Roma (non secche e piccole come certe "rinomate" taverne), antipasti fritti saporitissimi, asciutti e cotti alla perfezione. Ingredienti sempre di prima qualità. In rari casi sono surgelati, come carciofini e gamberi, ma basta evitarli. Baccalà, fiori di zucca, fritto di zucchine, supplì da manuale. Atmosfera vivace ma familiare, mai volgare, proprietari e personale brava gente, in un'epoca di pescecani è un bonus all'esperienza culinaria. Se volessi scoprire nuovi posti partirei da quelli coi punteggi più bassi, dove sono certo ci sono i (veri) migliori ristoranti di Roma
