Certainly nicer to sit outside in summer. Tables are a bit wobbly. Food is good and service quite quick.

A nice discovery, excellent and plentiful food, fast service. Very nice location especially for lunch with the sun warming you. A highly recommended place if you want a valid alternative to the usual tourist menu

Petit restaurant local, qui ne paie pas de mine, mais les planches de charcuterie et fromages sont superbes.. et je suis difficile! Les salades sont très bonnes aussi. Et même avec presque 40 degrés , ça passe tout seul… avec une biere😏 Et les serveurs sont extra! Sympa. Un bon petit repas de midi plaisir, simple et excellent.

26/01/2025: Situato nella parte alta del Sasso Caveoso, ai confini con il centro storico di Matera è un ristorante ambientato in un edificio tipico del Sasso che si sviluppa scendendo sotto il livello della strada. Gestito in modo familiare con personale disponibile e loquace. Molto buona la cucina base di prodotti tipici della Lucania. Nella sala più profonda (livello cantina) è allestita una piccola sala cinema dove vengono proiettati e riproposti a ciclo continuo spezzoni di film girati a Matera.
17/01/2025: Marvelous. Exquisite and authentic food, very kind staff, wonderful atmosphere. In the basement there is a small cinema where you can see clips of all the films shot in Matera, a real plus! I will recommend it. Thank you.
