Congratulations! Besides the value of the initiative and the idea, we had a wonderful lunch in a well-managed and friendly environment!

It's wonderful to travel to the Bassa in November and return to eating like grandma used to... a warm lunch, with local ingredients and flavorful dishes. The dessert buffet is a masterpiece! The wine list focuses on the local area (lots of Lambruscos! But also Pagadebit, Alionza, and other rarer choices).

Wonderful place… It's like being a child again at your grandmother's house. I recommend the tasting menu so you can try all the appetizers, sweets, and liqueurs at the buffet. The first courses are excellent: maltagliati with ragù di cartella and tortellini with goat's milk ricotta and nettles!! There are so many sweet cats wandering around… The host is fantastic and engaging.

Four stars because the food is good: unique dishes, definitely natural and local. It's the perfect place if you want to spend a lot of time at the table without being in a rush... but if you have something else to do after lunch, the slow service can become a problem. Prices are average, perhaps a little high. Friendly staff.

A unique restaurant surrounded by greenery. Cat lovers can find a few roaming around, and you can bring your own pets. Vegan options are also available, and the appetizer and dessert buffet is excellent!

I think the correct definition is… Culinary and Human Experience. A place of worship for humanity and cuisine, to be savored, and any description would be too personal. A must-try.

We stayed at Lanterna di Diogene and can't say enough good things about it. The place is surrounded by nature, quiet and relaxing, ideal for unwinding and enjoying some peace and quiet. The breakfast was truly excellent, with homemade and authentic products. The owners are super kind, welcoming, and always available, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The room was clean, well-equipped, and with attention to detail. We also had dinner there: delicious cuisine, with simple yet flavorful dishes prepared with local ingredients. An authentic experience that we recommend to those seeking peace, good food, and a warm welcome. We'll definitely be back!

After a couple of failed attempts because the place was sold out, this time for Sunday lunch I booked five days in advance... no problem. The place, an old farmhouse under the Panaro riverbank; don't expect a renovation in the style of some Star Wars film; the trattoria is deliberately what it seems, fortunately in this case. Let's get to the food; 6/7 first courses and as many second courses, and 2 buffets, one for appetizers that is then replaced by a dessert buffet. From what we tasted, the verdict is largely positive; the duck ragù is excellent, and especially the stew...outstanding!!! Or, if you prefer, "from another era." Finally, the list of local wines, from the Sorbara area. With a few gems for connoisseurs of homemade bottles without additives and with the classic "lees." Part of the negative aspect is the noise in the dining room when it's full; That's why I promised myself I'd return in the summer when we can eat outside and try the two famous buffets. Service can be a bit slow when the place is fully booked, but don't worry; eating on a farm isn't something you get every day these days.
