Exceptional restaurant, excellent food, elaborate and km 0. Very nice, helpful and generous owner. Important information: Google marks it as closed on Tuesdays, but you should always call as they are always open at certain times of the year.

One of the most beautiful places!! It has a rustic touch being a country farmhouse, but inside you are enveloped in warmth, dishes that are more than good and well looked after in terms of quality, the portions are also very good... rare to find the two things together. Desserts... well here you will find an assortment also combined with rediscovering things from the past, like a sort of really good pear and quince jelly, you just feel the sweetness of the fruit, more than just going to eat it's a taste experience. Highly recommended, I didn't take photos because I was too busy enjoying the good food and good wine. Thanks John.

Perfect location in the Solara countryside. Off the road and away from danger, it is the ideal place for a refreshing break after a nice walk on the Panaro bank. Excellent food and rediscovered flavors of peasant cuisine. Absolutely worth trying

Magnificent experience, which we approached with caution, "studying" first. The restaurant is located directly on the Panaro bank, and the journey to get there, especially in the evening, is already an experience in itself. We had dinner at the foot of the oak trees, in a relaxing setting, surrounded by cats and the inevitable evening insects (lots of mosquito bugs here and there). The menu is minimal, concentrated on the proposals studied and cared for by the chef and his collaborators. If you take the tasting you won't go wrong. Very pronounced flavors, with abundant use of aromas and spices. In particular, I was very impressed by the vegetable buffet that opens the meal (great variety, in particular I really loved the green beans with mint, the sweet and sour aubergine peels and the soft courgettes), and by the tenderness of the pan-fried ribs (the meat detaching from the bone). The final dessert buffet made me happy (I think the sight of a table laden with every delicacy would make anyone happy!). The service is slow, it must obviously be evaluated based on the context, in our case there was only one waiter present in addition to the chef who was the host. Nothing that caused any real inconvenience. Of course you need to book in advance, even for the few seats.

I was here with my family for mid-August lunch. Very positive and relaxing experience, strongly recommended for nature and slow food lovers. Wide choice of appetizers (vegetables and legumes) served buffet style, also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. I really appreciated the meat first courses but I also found the pan-fried chicken and ribs delicious. Homemade bread with semi-wholemeal flour, as well as fried gnocchi. The dessert buffet is amazing. As for the service, we had such a good time that it felt like we were guests at a friend's house.

It is one of those magical places where you can enjoy the small, great satisfactions of life. Eating delicious dishes in a quiet place surrounded by nature. For example, savoring a tasty peperonata under the trees to the song of crickets and cicadas and enjoying the fresh air that nature gives us away from the city is priceless.

17/12/2024: Suggestive and welcoming location ideal for lunches, dinners and events. I had the pleasure of having lunch here for my uncles' wedding anniversary. Excellent traditional dishes: tortellini in broth, tortelli with speck and scamorza, roasts with potatoes. The panoramic view and the lit fireplace will make your stay very pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff. Be careful of snowy/icy roads in the winter months.

24/12/2024: A cena dopo una giornata di sci, preso pappardelle al cinghiale, niente di particolare ma comunque buone e stinco con patate fritte (arrosto purtroppo erano finite) molto buono, dolce e caffè.....direi ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
05/10/2024: Positive impact upon entering, minimal but welcoming environment. Single typical Tuscan starter, minimal but adequate for the price, good, apart from the slice of cheese which for my taste was perhaps pecorino, but too fresh. Tagliatelle with mushrooms, good, good sirloin slice, even if a little overcooked for me, they didn't ask me how it was cooked, fried vegetables as standard as any other restaurant, rosticciana and sausage were just right, the rosticciana was more bone than "flat" ”, the delicious dessert, I recommend it, mascarpone worked with crunchy and put in the fridge; the fried mushrooms were a total disappointment, they confirmed to us that they were porcini mushrooms, which my husband often ate in the Abetone/Fiunalbo area, no later than a week ago, we didn't even realize that they were porcini mushrooms!!!!!!! !!!!. We returned, the dish was almost intact, perhaps three pieces were tasted with many doubts, immediately pointing out the inconvenience to whoever cleared the table. We then discovered, when they obviously made us pay despite our opposition, it almost seemed like we were at fault because another table had asked twice for the same "excellent" dish, which I believe is cooked by the son of the owner, Mrs. lady who was counting on it (from what she herself stated). We will certainly not return there again, not so much for the 8 euros which do not change my life and which I can consider a tip, but for the rude response of the lady who was annoyed by our objection. They were all but not capped porcini mushrooms as defined, which my husband had eaten at another restaurant in the area the week before!l and excellent with a completely different appearance, both in terms of appearance and taste!!!!!!! Perhaps the son, in our case, fried scraps of caps and black leather. However, beyond this very unpleasant inconvenience, we had dinner without praise or infamy. The price? Certainly not 10-20 euros as mentioned, it actually depends on what you eat, we went over 30 euros each, I would say on average for these trattorias. Too bad, perhaps without the lady's acidic response and without charging me for a "very very decadent" fried mushroom, perhaps I would have been able to go back to check the quality. But like this……….never again.
