Good pizza in a spartan setting with placemats and bagged cutlery. The pizza is average, but €6 for a medium beer and cover charge (since I wasn't given a receipt, just a debit card receipt), I'd say that's a bit too much.

My point of reference for excellent pizza in San Giorgio... I may be biased but it is the best eaten in Emilia Romagna. Both classic pizzas and something more refined are available. Very clean and well-kept place albeit with limited space; owner and staff really kind and approachable. Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: We ate at a lovely restaurant/pizzeria, La Carriola, this evening. The staff was remarkably friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The bressaoula with arugula and Parmesan was exceptionally good in both flavor and quantity. The pizza that followed was the best we've ever been served, only a bit too big! The spaghetti vongole is truly the most outstanding we've had in years! Simply fantastic and unexpected. We have years of experience with Italian cuisine in all its forms and enjoy cooking ourselves. It couldn't be better. We'll definitely be back tomorrow!
